Sir the SQ setups does not restrict you to listen to a certain type or genre of music. You can listen to any type of music on it.

SQ setups are designed to play the music "the way the artist intended it to be".
or
the way the music was actually recorded in the studio.
or
the way the actually recorded music should sound.

^^3 different ways to put it.

Example, a person buys a really expensive home audio setup and one asks him or his family that what sort of music do you guys listen? The taste of music may differ from person to person, but that does not mean the home setup can only play a particular type of music not other. Hope it clears things up about a SQ setup.

Now for the amp that i bought

Clarion Pro Audio APA4200.

Features & Specs:
* Made in the USA.
* McIntosh Power Guard.
* Sanken Transistors
* 115db SNR
* Very high Slew Rate
* 50x4 rms.

As most of you guys already know McIntosh was bought by Clarion in the 70s.
This amp is rated equal to McIntosh MC Series amp on misc forums. Some people also say it is McIntosh MC series amp just with different cosmetics. (DIYMA is down, will post the links shortly)
I also tested this amp with another very well reputed 50x4 amp in a friend's car and there was no comparison at all.

I needed a 50x4 amp to power the rears and the center speaker. This amp will do perfectly.

this might be purely neutral amp with no coloration at all in any area...
