but sir still. lets look at it this way. at a particular note, your front speaker is moving out, your rear speaker is moving out and your woofer is moving out. the woofer being in the trunk is pumping air into the trunk and hence it is supporting the outward movement of the rear speaker. if it was in the opposite phase to the rear speaker then it would be restricting the outer movement of the rear speaker.

But you are again missing a major point here..

The sub is in the trunk and is in direct interaction with the back side of the cone of the rear speaker (not the front side of the cone which is firing in the cabin)

Now for the sub being in the trunk, when the sub cone is pushing out wards, the cone of the rear speakers (for the sub) pushing in wards, not outwards... making it out of phase with the sub.

but sir when sub pushes out (into the trunk) the rear speakers push out (into the cabin) so wouldnt the sub add to the excursion of the rear speaker and cause it to distort? kher did u try putting the rear speakers on hpf? turned the bass down on rear speakers?

sir aap nae krx2 abhi tak install nahi kiae...phir aap kiss kiss speaker ka phase issue theek kernae chalein hain.. speaker hee speakr hain aap kee gaari mein...

aur haan, what about tweeter placement?? how do u intend on placing them off-axis

Man i just returned from a drive with stj...took some of my 5.1 media to test the system out... and it was soo off the hook ke i didnt wanna get out of his car when we reached home... Uff uff uff ! the whole time we had grins on our faces and that Smug feeling that felt awesome !

the centre channel is such a phenomenal piece of hardware...such clear and crisp in your face vocals...and the whole 5.1 experience took me to a whole other world to say the least... it really defined the front stage to another level !

even with the polk DB coaxials up front the setup was off the hook.. !

now just waiting for the KRX-2's to be done... and then this setup will actually be OUTTA THIS WORLD !

hehe...good to hear ur install is almost completion. yes, center channels have such rich vocals. amazing for those 5.1 concert videos. must be a joy listening to these indeed....

Sorry to keep you waiting guys..was very very busy due to eid closing...

I thought i will post the system pics after the comps break-in, which is 40 hours of running time.... Only after the break-in i will be able to finalize the location of the tweets.

I was also thinking about another update.....

But well.. i will post the system pics anyways...
