Stone hit under boday engine oil leaked and engine wont start

today a stone hit under body of my city after few mins red light goes on i stopped the car and checked engine oil was leaking mean while engine also stopped
mechanic said chamber has been damaged and will be repaired after removing engine but he also said engine is also ceased so it will also cost a lot to repair
can you guys guide me what can be estimated cost of repair

he just checked under boday and told engine chamber is damaged and will be welded cost is 1500 engine disassemling and assembling charges 10000 .however he was an avg mechanic he advice me better to take your car to honda dealership as id there is engine problem they can tell you the cost

engine does not seize spontaneously, if you stopped the car at red light and saw oil leak. engine shut down before seizure.

good if its rotating means engine have muscle. ...

the sump need to be opened sourced a fresh one from chah sultan in pindi,

mechanic shall see if there is any physical damange to oil pickup strainer, if it is intact,. simply wash clean with petrol spary use no brush or cloth or any item to clean.

use new ( sump ) gaskit and install the sump. - pour fresh engine oil wait 10 minutes then start the engine, check for any leakage at chamber ( sump ), use silicone gaskit to reseal it.

there is no rotating at all just a crank sound and thats it.since my car is standing on road thanks i managed to bring it to near my home. tomorow will take to a good mechanic infront of my office where i used to go for regular maintenance.just praying that perhaps engine is not damaged i am extremly worried about engine as its cost a lot and totally out of budget

You mechanic must be the worst mechanic ever.
There is no need to take the engine out just to replace the sump it can easily i do mean easily be done by jacking up the car. Try to get a new one dont get it welded. Look for a kabli one from Sultan ka khoo you will get an original item at fraction of the cost. These things have no expiry or ever wear out so a used one wont matter.
And lastly i dont think the engine could have seized that easily. Even if all of the oil had leaked and the engine was running completely dry or sucking air inside it still would have taken atleast 5-10 minutes.
My advice go buy the oil pan/sump from sultan ka khoo. Call some mechanic at home if the car is at home and tell him to replace it with the new one you have. buy some used oil pour that in just to see if the engine starts. (if it doesn't and you had new oil that oil would be wasted.). If the engine runs. Take it to Honda and ask them to inspect the car. If they tell you any work is required it then post it on this thread else just change the oil to new one and enjoy your ride

well the current mechanic was a road side mechanic and just check the underboady and definatly i am not going to this
tomorow will take to my mechanic for this job done as he is toyota and honda specialist and if parts are needed he will arange himself from sultan ka khu .
praying that issue resolved here and wont go till engine

Yeah thats way way better.
My friend had a similar accident. His cars under body also got hit by a rock and made a crack in the oil sump.
His fix was just 3000 rupees.
A new oil sump for 2000 and replacing labor charges 1000

Sorry for the loss but let me tell u one thing .... Honda is known for it's strong engine .... It does not cease this much easily ...in many cases gaskit is also saved ... Dnt worey iA everything will be fine... I am sure car engine will be runing condition... But expert mechanic is required. I do not recommend honda dealership they will make u spend in lacs . Instead what ur mechnic says keep us posted n will try to help u there is a mechnic name zulfiqar in rwp chah sultan he replaced my honda engine n he was good in it ... Recommended to ask 3 or 4 mechnics don't make mind in just one call as this is Sunnah also ... Good luck

well
engine got affected .its assembly has changed .was very hard time for me but thanks we got this part from 2016 model city who was sitting in garage of my mechanic who was totally crushed as a truck fell on it but its bonet was 100% safe so bought engine assembly from that guy as he was willing to sell his car as it is.
now my car is performing even more better then earlier in all aspects especially pick and very smooth
but whatever since original thing is original and also this result in change in engine no on registration so this will badly affect resale

Bro, I have the same problem I believe. Vehicle was standly for 4 days . I see oil leak like this (see attached). The oil sump is all wet and greasy, could see certain amount of oil drops on the ground. Not too huge, but can't be ignored. I believe once when I rode to a ghat area, there was a stone hit, I heard the impact but couldn't find where was it. But now, I m concerned. Can you see the pic and advise.

the oil sump has ruptured. and leaking, do not start or drive the vehicle. leakage will amplify under oil pressure.

please check in your city if any mechanic can provide you home service. the sump need to be removed for repair / replacement.

engine needs to be pulled out or the front sub-frame (gatri) need removal to access sump bolts.
