Stonic EX+?

At the new prices, how do you think Stonic fares? Now its priced almost same as City Aspire 1.5 and 2.5 - 3 lac less than Elantra 1.6/Altis 1.6 AT. So basically its now priced right in its segment which B-Segment/Subcompact. Given that MG ZS is not available right now (and will definitely be higher in price once its reopen for booking) plus MG after sales service doesn't sound very good so far.

I am upgrading from Yaris 1.5 and was looking at MG ZS and Stonic EX+ and I must say Stonic is really modern from inside and outside and has really high quality features, so I am impressed but I am worried about resale/future, I see there is a lot of Stonic bashing here so I am just wondering if it will end up like Ciaz?

What are the thoughts here after new price increases?

Not a good buy. Price is high compared to the size. The fate seems to be the same as Picanto.
I was really looking forward to getting one when it was being launched but the price was too much.
Inside it is cramped. Boot is small. Rear seats are cramped.
Overall it looks like a raised hatchback.

But that is all my opinion.

Picanto was overpriced.
It's delivery time has been an issue
The AT variant is a gas guzzler
It has failed to make a mark in the 1000cc category.

Overpriced yes but stonic is not a gas guzzler like picanto

Price is too high as compared to size. Almost same size ha suzuki cultus. Nobody is buying stonic.

I think I will go with used Civic or push a little to Elantra 1.6 new then. Thank you everyone.
