start by checking your gear oil level and if possible change it to proper GL4 SAE90 spec oil do not use GL5 rated gear oil in any jap small to mid size econocar - it will literally corrode and chew up all the syncronizer rings in your tranny.
next is to check that your CV and inner tripod joints are filled with proper grease, CV joints use a very sticky tar like black grease (10% moly content EP lithium soap NLGI2)
tripod joints use regular green grease (no moly EP lithium complex NLGI2 tacky type)
each joint in your car needs precisely 80 grams of it, While apart check that they are not severely worn out. and your tranny is not worn out too
Replace or regrease your front hub bearings and use new grease seals when finished. Your problems will never come back to haunt you
