Strange mehran problem

assalamualaikum,

guys there's a strange noise coming from my mehran near the fan belt. Sounds like ''choon choon'', in an irregular manner, meaning it does not constantly sound like this.

I have no idea why is it doing so. 3 months back, i changed the fan belt because the old one was worn out.But at that time it was not making this noise so i dont think that its because of a worn out fan belt.

I am going to get it checked from a mechanic tomorrow, but if anyone can please guide me what might be the problem causing this sound.

well ask ur mechnic to tighten the belt
he will just only loose the generator and move it forward to tight the belt and thts about it

no,it sounds like this all the time when the engine starts, with occasional 1 or 2 seconds break.

check brings of belt well phele mere wala kam kar k dakhoo !
and ask ur mechinic

Waisa Mehran main cho cho cha cha lagi rahti hai but if its too loud tu kisi mechanic ko dekha lo.

Its very hard to diagnose noises online

^^^ the fact is that it is the most maintainance free car. i've had it for four years, just change oil, air filter at regular intervals and check the water. Believe me it hasn't asked me to go to the mechanic. Just for the tuning only.

the culprit here seems to b the vacuum valve. get it checked, new one costs around Rs. 350. waise it won't give u any mechanical problems, just the irritating sound.

In my car this problem solved by putting original belts. Actually i changed the belts and that stupid spare parts wala gave me 2 number belts even higher than the price of original. after 5-6 days when i got fed up of that chu chu chu noise, i went to the mechanic to tighten the belts and he said k ye belts low quality ki hain. Changed them and FIT

ur AC or generator belt is loose ...get it properly adjusted
