Strange Noises in Cultus Transmission

I have a 2004 cultus. When i start it up it gives so loud grinding and crackling noise when i press clutch it goes away. After sometime when car has warmed up the noise go away and secondly main problem is that there is a whining noise in all gears till 80 kmph ... after 80 kmph the whining noise go away ...

bro, its a known issue, search the forum for solution which is to overfill the transmission a bit like 250-300ml and it will go away

It's called gearbox rattle and it's the noise the gears make while spinning without a load on them. It depends on the design of the transmission and it's annoying but normal. When you press the clutch in, the input shaft stops turning and the noise stops. When it's in gear, there's enough load on the transmission to keep the rattle quiet.
Otheriwse get it checked by Suzuki.

Check the clutch bearing inside the gearbox.

That sound is very common I had a Baleno with the same problem
It persisted for 4 months and than got it checked by my mechanic (not suzuki as they are very expensive)
He advised me to ignore it
Sold the car with this noise

My personal experience, only happens when you try running AC on cold engine. Let the car run for 1 km than start AC, you will never hear the voice.

Did u replace Gear oil with 85w140 or 85w90?

I think drain out your Transmission oil(Recently changed one) and fill with Total gear oil & yes in morning cold start, leave your idle for sometimes between 30 seconds to 1 minute, such noises will be faded away(but condition is that Gear oil should be filled upto mark

The noice in gear was the issue with my cultus ,i discussed with a mechinic Ustad Yaqboob in islamabad ,he advised me to replace gear oil with Zic c oil replacing speedo meter cable till it is full, around 3 liters c oil was filled and issue of gear noice stopped,

Bhai sb, AOA, my clutus 2010 gives the same noise between 60-80kmh. You mentioned that it was gone with Zic C oil at the advice of Ustad Yaqoob. Could you please guide me further as to which number is Zic C oil? I did not find it anywhere. Also if you could provide details of Ustad Yaqoob, then it will be a great favour.
