Strange Problem With Suzuki Mehran

I have a Suzuki mehran 2006 with 65k clocked bought it a year before, i am using 10W-40 Zic A engine oil and change it at 3000km but the problem is when i take my car to put in new oil it shows lower then the second dot on dip stick soon after pouring, on next oil change i asked oil guy to take out the bottle and measure oil it was exactly 3L but when it went to car and we started car so oil flows and checked but again car was showing oil little below the exact level. I discussed this problem with mechanic he said this is not a problem previous owner might have changed oil chamber or something so it aint showing exact oil. And some amount of water reduces from reservoir bottle after a week or so. No smoke no power loss or other odd symptom noticed till now. Experts please tell what can be the exact solution as i have changed water pump also and serviced radiator once but cant see a leak mechanic is saying it is a small leak which cant be detected like this.

maybe your oil change shop's floor is not level

you check dipstick on the first go or clean with fabric or take the reading on the second ?

check ur dip stick length . its not possible to have a bigger chamber as it will collect oil below the moving parts

Looks like mehran dip sitck but can i get new dip stick?

I've also checked at my home and other places also by cleaning dip stick and checking on cold engine.

oil chambers have gaskets attached to them and suzuki chambers are notorious for leaking
if some puts a desi gasket it is thick which shows less oil even in full mode
so no worry mate

Brother can it be changed easily? I haven't seen any oil stains in my garage floor. But there is a problem with chamber becuz it aint showing oil level exactly. @xulfiqar bahi please give some suggestions.

it can but makes no diff also check oil pain where it meets the engine assembly is it all moist if its moist then gasket is leak if not then chalo gari this does not matter
gasket costs 150rs and 80 rs for slicon

i wouldn't do anything before comparing the dipstick length with another mehran's dipstick

I believe that oil level is checked after stopping engine and waiting for some time.

First simply compare dipstick lenght of your car with some other Mehran's as mentioned above.....

no need to worry an for side bottle issue this is the routine matter and you have to add the water even in cultus after a week as they have not good cooling system.

for oil change you must be careful on oil change that there must be no over filling and also please mention how much oil is less when you measure the oil in the flask or the workshop guy have measured.

Also please share the dip stick level too`

I hv mehran euro2. 2013 Model and same thng i hv observed too.... and i hv noticed that in user manual its engine oil capacity mentioned is 2.5L.... but i always poured 3L of oil zic A...

often people at petrol pumps fill 2.75 litre and give bottle back with rest. filling .5 litre extra is over filling and is not good.

if you need to add water every week, something is wrong.

bhai mehran hai xli ya hinda nhe jo mahena mahena side bottle check karne ki zaroorat hi nhein.

mehran drinks the PANI as the pyasa camel and in summer you have to be curious about that.....some thing wrong is that it is mehran

if the water level is decreasing in the reservoir bottle you have a leak, and it seems as if you have a minor leak you need to find and rectify it
