Strong Jerk after Clutch Pressure Plate Change

Aoa , Today i went to mechanic for clutch overhaul, after opening gear box, mechanic told me to change clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing, exedy japan clutch plate cost 5800, bearing for 1300. Labour charges 1200.
After fitting when i was coming back i noticed strong jerk after first gear, it was very difficult for me to drive from idle state to running, had two times engine stalls. 3,4 working fine, nominal jerk. I went back to mechanic he told me that it is ok as i am use to bad clutch plate, jerk will settle down as i will get use to new clutch setting,
Please guide me is it ok ?
Or it is due to bad installation from mechanic
Or mismatch rpm
Or pressure plate was 2 number.

Did you get a second opinion before changing the clutch. Was it necessary?

Yes, 3 mechanics suggested to replace clutch plate, clutch plate was totally worn out when it came out, no sign of leather at all.

Your repairer forgot to send your clutch plate along with the pressure plate and FLYWHEEL to the kharad
The kharad was supposed to grind the flywheel so that it matches flush with the clutch plate. Charges sometime back were 500 to 700 or maybe now it is 1000.but now they will have to open up the clutch plate and you will have to pay the charges for it again

You can either take this bitter pill of paying again or bear this problem, but this also results in low life of the clutch plate

I have replaced clutch & pressure plate in mehran like 2 months ago. Used same EXEDY brand. had same issue in start. Then i adjusted my clutch wire. roughly after 1-2 weeks, i got used to with my clutch which now seems smooth.

What to adjust in clutch cable, should it open the pressure plate high or low

Nop, just bonnet khol k Wire ko Clutch lever per adjust krte han, hardly 1 min ka kaam ha aor 50-100 rupees lgain gy max

I got my mehran clutch plate set replaced by japanese set just afte 50 k kms, but didn't done the kharadia thing. so the jerks were destroying the car , and now the new set got worn out after 35 k kms.
Now I have searched for leather replacement option on my genuine set, The guy called baba clutch plate on multan road near metro station "Khatam e Nabuwat" replaced the leathers and tightens the old pressure plate just for 1300 Ruppees.
As the new japanese set now costs 10k It is worth trying..

What are your remarks after getting it repaired?
Any estimated life of this repair job (15,000 km)?
How much time is required for complete repair process?
Also can you share the cell # and/or name of the person at shop for reference?
