Vaqas: Now you have already spent money on it, so dont think about anything else, it will hurt you... I think if this engine (Subaru) is fixed nicely with original parts, it wont give you trouble for next 3 yrs (say around 60k kms). But it has to be driven in a nice manner (Subaru needs love and care).
No doubts Cultus engine is cheap to maintain and every mechanic can work on it. On other hand Subaru's engine parts are expensive but hopefully you wont need those that regularly, but its not a machine friendly...(Well the water pump and fittings of it was a new thing for whole Karachi Company machine community, when I got my Subaru’s engine few years back).
About radiator, well single nali radiator was fine (with ac) till I got CNG fitted in my car. Bcuz with CNG there is an increase of about 10-15 % (thats for every car). Still in Islo it was ok, but I travel alot to Lahore and there traffic is a big problem...that was the reason I got specially made radiator for my car (ummm cant remember the exact cost but surely was like Rs. 2500-3000)
Intoxicated: New shocks...interesting Raja Auto gonna make money this week...
I bought those for about 16,000.
and talking about a Subaru with a/c cng in 60K is a very very good deal. if you are not afraid of spending few weeks at the workshop (initially) go for it. and in case you are not interested in it, do let me know I might go for it.
