Sadly, a similar to what happened to you has had happened to me before with Sehgal Motors. I bought the very same thing - an air compressor, I received it broken into pieces, the air pressure gauge was not functioning either.
I contact those guys at Sehgal and they told me to ship the unit back to them at Lahore, I did, it burned my Rs. 800 in my reshipping alone.
Well, a few days after the shipping I received another package from Sehgal, this time not only the gauge was not working, but the wires were damaged, the car socket plug was shattered into pieces, the air compressor itself was uneven on its floor supports.
People here advised me to reship the unit and make some noise, however, I knew that it wouldn't work out for me in the end, I would end up wasting money on shipping and receiving another broken unit.
This incident broke my heart and taught me a lesson that these crooks will never change, they are there to scam others and not to build their brand.
I thought how bold of them it was to send me another broken unit. Made me realize how naive it was of me to not go for Ingco; they’re currently the best electronics makers out therein Pak.
Well, lessons learned.
