Suggest Air Pressure for Yokohama 195 65 R15

Please suggest Air Pressure for Yokohama 195 65 r15 Tyres. Currently my car air pressure is 32 front and 30 back. But I am getting very bad fuel avg on my honda city 2014 Prosmetic.
I am getting arround 7km/L to 8km/L in city.

The correct pressure is written on the driver side door jamb; it isn't dependant on tire size or company.

Btw why do you think you have bad fuel economy because of tire pressure? Have you properly ruled out other factors?

You heard wrong - fuel economy is excellent even in the automatic model - it should be more than 12-13.

You are either driving it purely in traffic jams, or there is some issue with your car.

IMO, Tyre pressure and tyre size go side by side, and these make a difference. Yes, brand may not matter much.

35 psi in 175/65/R15 Vs 195/65/R15 for the same car, makes considerable difference, as far as ride comfort is concerned.

In case of Honda City; fuel efficiency is best in 1.3L MT, and worst in 1.3L PT.

It may give 12-13 kmpl fuel efficiency in 1.3L MT but for 1.3L PT, getting this much fuel efficiency is very difficult.

My friend averaged 14 in his PT that he sold recently. The transmission in this car has many faults, but efficiency is not one of them - it goes into lockup from 3rd gear on speeds as low as 30 km/h - when in lockup mode, an automatic transmission is just as efficient as a manual one.

2 reasons why fuel avg dropped
thiis a bigger tire
compare diameter to oem.spec...your car went up 1 inch - better clearance with drawbacks
your speedo and avg is in accurate technically . as meter was designed for diff size

plus assuming u r on advand DB....its a super soft tire...
car consumes more fuel on softer tires

You made everything difficult for your own self. First of all its a 1.3 Prosmatec AKA Fuel guzzler, and secondly you’ve installed two size bigger tyres which increases stability grip better braking but on the other hand it effects the Fuel average so the point is the fuel average you’re getting is justified and you can’t do much about it.

For getting same level of comfort for the same car, if you increase tyre size, then air pressure in tyres be decreased, otherwise, ride will become very bumpy and uncomfortable

This is my opinion based on my personal experience with my Vitz. 32-35 psi in stock 165/70/R14 tyres as per OEM requirements was absolutely OK, but the similar pressure in new 185/65/R15 tyres with 15" rims, made the ride extremely bumpy, uncomfortable (so had to drop tyre pressure to attain same level of comfort, otherwsie, suspension would have taken a Great Toll!)

Similarly, 32/30 psi in 175/65/R15 in Honda City Vs 32/30 psi 195/65/R15 for the same Honda City, will make lots of difference.
