Suzuki gives more classic and strong looks as compare to Honda.
I talked to some of my friends those who are into bikes they reckon 125 classic is best among all and claimed suzuki 150 is failure.I can't comment on that due to lack of bikes knowledge.

if wanting some powerful machine than, just go for a DT. its driving is hard, means u feel uncomfortable on long drive but i personally have used yamaha enduro 175 for 2 years and i loved it. only draw back is its uncomfortable drive but it is a hell of power.

125 at many places can be busted if on double sowari, at bakot forest, on double sowari it is boyond its limitations, at sharan at paey these are the recent places where i couldnt rode 125 with double sowari. for such places, a DT is expert...

rest seeing the parts issue and mechanic issues, 125 seems to be the good choice.. coz DT is expensive in maintenance and petrol etc.

but if i have to replace my 125 surely i will replace it with GS 150

For mountains the choice should be simple, a 2 stroke. They are more suitable because,

• They weigh less. Weight is a major problem on mountains and unpaved tracks. Lighter bikes are easier to handle. GS 150weighs 119 kgs and Deluxe around the same making them unsuitable for offroading.
• Engines are more powerful. In 2 strokes every other stroke is the power stroke allowing them to produce more power.
• They are simple, so easy to maintain.
• They produce much more torque and that also at low rpms.
• They have excellent power to weight ratios.
• For a 4 stroke bike to give comparable service the displacement should be more than 350cc.

though i am no more that much biker now as once i was.. i love to walk now in remote locations.... but even than, once or twice a year i rode for long i.e 200 to 400 kms tour... and for that still i have my 2003 model honda 125 ...

Yamaha Two Stroke is Best ever bike for Double Sawari as well pulling the weight.
Last year our visited to Fatehpur Thakyala (New name of Nakayal). We enjoying riding on Yamaha 100.
it 1550 meter above sea level.

Weight of the bike is a liability on the mountains but a stabilising factor on highways. I would prefer a GS over the lighter 2 strokes on paved roads. The lighter bikes should be driven at lower speeds. I would feel comfortable driving them at around 65km/hr.

Regarding comfort I feel any bike is more comfortable than 4 spd CG125 at 60kph or above, as it shakes terribly. The 5 speed version is much better.

BTW I feel bikes should not be driven on highways in Pakistan at all as it has become too rowdy and dangerous. I take my bike in bus/train and start driving on mountains. Now I am thinking of getting a bike trolley to attach to my car.

ravi piaggio, is a superb bike as far as i heard, italian technology perhaps..,, but let experts give their opinion about that. it is also 4 stroke .... and as Omer bhai said, 4 stroke engine should be above 350CC fir off roading

Regarding seat... I have ride my CG-125 more than 14 hours in a day. 8am to 10pm in my trip...Though tired... (as banda apnay ghar beth k bhi tou tired ho hi jata ha) but not much uncomfortable and I am satisfied by its seat.

But regarding GS-150 seat.... I went a trip to Cholistan on the back seat of Mr. Farhan (Two people on one).... It was a hell to sit... My wording was just... that it is not made for people of pakistan. It doesn't comply to body frame/structure of Pakistani people.

Same I was not easy to drive GS,,,

Regarding two person on mountains... CG will not work proper. Highly recommended one person on one bike.

Waisay tou ma last year CD-70 pa two person *** thay... Murree via Express way and aagay Muzaffarabad.. Garhi dopatta.. and even upto halfway of Pir Chinasi.

Bass pohanch *** thay... but kaheen kaheen my friend utar jata tha.. kaheen dhaka bhi laga daita tha...

So 2 person on one bike k apnay faiday apnay nuqsan hotay hain...faida yeh ha k mushkil charhai ya kaheen gari phans jae tou dosra banda dhaka laga daita ha...

My bike stuck on Naltar in my trip.. It was very gradient spot of road... And it was all kacha will bajri (little stones)...

I was not able to move forward.. the tyre moves but bike not a single inch... It was even difficult for me to turn my bike on such gradient... so I put in gear.. switched off and stand it on the small stand..

Then help arrived there... A person with family on car. I requested him to help me to turn my back.. and I asked I want to go back...

But he encouraged me.. and pushed my bike and I was on the way.. and he all the way escorted me like a police van with a VVIP.. HAA HAA. Thanks to him.

On my way back... A person employed in GB govt office,,,, He was so kind... and good... he was with his some friends and his nephwes... He escorted me upto Nomal. Thanks.

Regarding CG125 only bad thing is it's suspension and seat. If you are not riding a bike daily than there's a tough task. I have had Honda 100 and it's suspension was excellent and at top speed it's drive was excellent. Then after 100 I got CG 125 and feel very uncomfortable because of it's seat and suspension. Now, I am thinking to get either Piaggio or Deluxe.

Here we have to look into facts not hypothesis ,CG 125 classic has already made the reputation as most of the people selected this bike and best thing about it that local mechanic is used to.But it also lack safety features.

After the luxury of 4x4s you really should try going on a 125, i kept three 125s when i was a kid, it makes your balls numb, you can't feel them after having a ride of 30 minutes, that too on very smooth roads, don't believe me, test it yourself

Regarding Seat of GS-150.... I can call it boyfriend girlfriend seat... On the backseat the man is so uncomfortable because the seat is inclined to front.. Backseat wala apnay apko girl friend feel karta ha... uss ko front walay say chipak k jurr kay jhuk k baithna parta ha...

I didn't have any experience of Deluxe, but I think Deluxe ki seat bhi GS ki tarah hi hogi...(MY GUESS)

CG-125 ki seat say mujhey koi masla nahi...na front say, na rear say...
