Can some one please suggest the tyres (brand & specifications) for Margalla? I wana change them today....!

• What's the stock tyre specification? Is is 175/65/R13 ?

• Currently i am considering Yokohama JAPAN (without writing), as i had then on my Khyber-93 & Accord-89. And i am very much satisfied with them.

brother wht eva u r goin in for do check the date of the tyres i mean the manufacturing date..........i hope u know abt it........i have yokohama in my corolla DB and m very happy with them.................i think u should go for them toooo......but remember to check the date......it must b like 20-30 th week of 07

yes..........n make sure u dont get old tyres(though not used) in the form of one having older dates........at the expence of money saving...........ill suggest dont buy them from sultan ka khooo .....u can visit UNIQUE TYRES in blue area...........

profile is also important...........dont go for low profile tyres as they give harder effects in bumps..i think for margalla 60-65 profile is enough.......with 175 width..........

On 1st of jan i insttaled the new tyres n specs are
sumitomo japan 170/70/r13
manuf. Date is 2907 (jul 07)
as yokohama was short in mkt
the tyres r very soft n comfartable

Tyre costed me 2500/tyre
old tyres was xchanged in 1500
old rims were also xchanged in 1500
guy was asking 7000 (2nd hand but in very nice condition) for alloys n 10,000 for tyres
so total was 14000 (after adjustment) n i paid 12000 in total for tyres n rims.
