Road can be scary or dangerous if you are frequent traveler otherwise it will be normal for you if you have been there before and there are plenty of places bro its just upto you where do you want to go
I have been to Kashmir before and I found those roads not scary lekn kuch jagahain mashoor hai jaise k Babusar Top, Gilgit k rastay etc.
Filhaal i'll suggest Swat due to tention with India in Kashmir you can only go to Neelum Valley and other few places in my opinion
