Suggestion regarding new Tyre for Honda city 2017?

Personally I have experienced this with my Suzuki Baleno. Stock tyres were 165/65/R13 I changed them to 185/65/R13 and it changed the car comfort a lot but it also damaged the suspension. I had to replace the suspension last year. Car is only 125k driven.

Now I have City and I feel like 175/65/R15 are fine. Max you should go is 185/65R15 otherwise you might damage your suspension.

But my cousin has been using 195/65/R15 for past 5 years on his City 1.3 MT and this car is doing fine and is giving 12kmpl in Lahore.

Thats fair, mines came with bridgestone which work really well but are very expensive

Does anyone know about Ling Long Green Max tires? How are they for Karachi city driving? Hard or soft? Considering this current City's hard suspension. I'm getting them for 4000/- per piece. Also have seen many people using them. Advice plz

Use a good brand tyres except euros. All tyres are softer than euros. Use any one and you will feel better.

I went two sizes up on my Suzuki Baleno tyres and it did ruin the suspension but my cousin has been driving his city with 195 size since 2013 and did not have any problem.

Also I live in an area with a lot of speed breakers and rough roads so may be that is why it was not good experience. My cousin lives in area with easy access to main roads so his city is just fine. I am not planning on changing my city's tyres any time soon

i have 2017 city
i changed the tyre the day i bought the car with Michellin believe me car drive is very smooth
my suggestion is to go for Michellin tyre without any second thought from a good reputable shop

Technical ppl will say yes but actually or practically no. Mine city has also same size and I am satisfied. Mileage drops a bit but great ground clearance and road grip. Thumbs up

But have u face any problem with rear tyres rubbing with body, when ppl seating on back seats??

If u r using 195 size then Don't go gor too soft tyres Use little harder tyres but they certainly will be softer than euros. I am using Bridgestone and they are fine with three ppls at back seat

Brother you are using 195 65 15 in your city. U talked somewhere about bad look in these tyres. Can you explain it and if you can upload pics of it. Actually i also have same ground clearance issue. Planning to buy 185 65 but someone told no benefit for ground clearance with it. But u told with 195 you never had cleance issue but i have to make mind with how much compromise on look.

No bad look at all only difference is mileage it certainly will reduce a bit. But overall no problem with any breaker and also some ppl says that warranty voids. But I confirmed from 3S Honda workshop supervisor he said its ok. While there is no warranty of suspension already.

Yes that is what I was told by Honda Gateway that suspension is not under warranty

Some ppl also suggest to add spaces in suspension to improve ground clearance. Any idea if that's good or just a wrong theory?

Spacers reduces road grip and ultimately will affect braking capabilities. Also causes wheel alignment problem ..... use 195/65/15

Have u used this spec tire? I don't think it's advisable to change tire spec. It would touch car body when turning.
