Nowadays used car markets prices are insane and your friend is I guess looking at the olx/pakwheels ads to put the demand.
What type of car you are looking for? Perhaps someone give you another idea.

18 is too much for manual and non oriel.

By low maintenance you mean fuel consumption, right? As i don't see much difference in maintenance like parts, etc..
Also, no car is just buy and drive car, you HAVE to spend on it.
Anyways civic 8th gen non-oriel, manual shouldn't be more than 14 lacs even with the current insane market price.

For a 2011 model
Non-Oriel and Manual - one of the lowest resale model. For the country's Sake, please don't offer a dime above 1.5mil.
Please stop encouraging these absurd demand vehicles.
1.5mil is already A LOT of money for a decade vehicle. That is almost at its end of life.

No matter how good it looks. If its a 10 year old Honda and not maintained by the book - expect to spend 80-100k in the very first year in small basic maintenance (if you like to have your car in OEM condition)
