Suggestion required regarding road trip from Karachi to Northern Area

Asalam u Alikum Everyone, I am planning a family trip from Karachi to Northern Side, I have Honda City manual 1.3 cc 2013 model, 2 drivers me and my father,
Can Honda City handle the road trip? Hi Octane and Petrol mix or only petrol?
How far can we take City until we will require jeeps? (remember, we are experienced drivers but haven't driven on hilly areas).
And if the roads will have ice so does tyres slips on the that road should we use chain on tyres?
And i am planning to go in start of February so is this weather is good for travel because i heard that the traffic jam situation is worst is this time?
and any other suggestions, tips, tricks and pointers will be highly appreciated.

sir the senior member @oodbalow has detailed the trip in his thread. Please check, in February you may not need snow tyres or chains. The areas with heavy snow will be closed for public / tourist vehicular traffic.

As far as physically capable goes i went to skardu on a 1.3 City 2014 and absolutely abused it because it was the last month of my insurance and i wanted any weak link to break and be replaced before i have to after the insurance ends. The old skardu road is in a condition when even 70 series barely exceed 30 km/hr and i kept racing them at 50 km/hr which ofc vibrated the hell out of the car but nothing still broke. On the eay back to Naran I constantly hit potholes in second or even third gear while going 50-70 and nope nothing. Obviously i do not recommend such driving with family and especially older people but just narrated that to show that the car itself is capable if you want it to be.
You would only need jeeps in some really really beaten parts which are jeep specific but anything on the main road doesn't need it.
Just make sure your brakes and fluids are maintained as I forgot my brake maintenance and it wasn't fun.
Regular petrol throughout is completely fine and in fact recommended instead of hi octane due to lower oxygen levels and your cars compression ratio.
Just make sure to follow a line when travelling in the potholes as most drivers tend to just Go straight which is pretty dumb and damaging
When near babusar pass the car will experience power loss but don't worry and keep it going preferably 1st gear on the corners and 2nd on the straights.
On the way down try not to brake as much but instead downshift and let the car stay in the higher rev range, it will sound like you are damaging your engine but you are not and your engine is actually slowing you down and keeping the car under more control
