This is a very ambitious project I am taking up. I need suggestions from you all..
A friend of mine who lives in England has requested me to assist him in this project, rather do it on his behalf.
He wants to present a car to his sister, who is a housewife. The car is to be used for routine chores like pick and drop of kids and usual grocery shopping etc. Nothing challenging at all.
The budget is very tight. 150-200K for the end product.
We are not concerned about re-sale at all.
The car will be used by a lady who is not a very experienced driver, hence it should be free from troubles which may cause the car to stall on the road.
I have suggested we go for a blown up Khyber or Charade (even 2 door will do) and go for a complete body, interior and engine restoration.
I need suggestions from all friends on the viability of this project, and if possible, assistance in sourcing the project car.
If anyone has such a car in view, please lead me to it.
