Suggestions required for Honeymoon destinations in Pakistan March 2014!

Dear PW Mates,I want to go for my honeymoon in 1st week of March but i am not sure as where should i head for. Everybody is suggesting for Murree, although i personally have never been there before. Therefore i need to get expert opinion as which is best place for honeymoon in Pakistan, it would great if someone can help me making a complete itinerary from Karachi. I want to know everything in detail that should i travel by car or by air and also kindly provide me hotel details and rates so that i wont be rip off. Your detailed explaination will be highly appreciated as i have never been to Murree or Northern areas before. Thank You.

If you extend your plan till end of March then below itinerary will be best for you.

Day 1 Departure for Islamabad Arrived Islamabad Visit Islamabad & Rawalpindi .
Day 2 Early Morning Departure for Mingora, Arrived Mingora, Hire a transport Visist Malam jabba, Madyen, Behren & Stay at Behren.
Day 3 Early Morning Went to Kalam , Ushu & Mahodan Stay at Kalam.
Day 4 Departure for Mangora, Visit Bazar, Nigt Stay at Mingora
Day 5 Departure for Pindi then Karachi.

There are many hotels between Rs500 to Rs1000 in all Mingora, Behren & Kalam.

whatever u do dont go to muree...............................

if u havnt even been to muree b4 then travelling up north mite be an issue coz u mite face difficulty in getting used to the hasles of the north....

i suggest u visit swat and in particular stay in White Place Hotel in Marghazar.....

u can fly to islamabad... go to mingora (swat) in Daewoo and then hire cab to Hotel White Palce in Mraghazar.....

second option which is a milder one is that u visit nathia gali and kalabagh in Giliat region.....

If you a Karachite and never been to Murree, then go there, coz murree has lost appeal for experienced travelers, for a newbie its still interesting.

1-Go by plane to ISL, spend a day there visiting
2-Go by private cab to Murree, spend a couple of days visiting chairlift and tramping at Mall/ post office road.
(I've been there and beleive me for a couple these places only provide a background, its only ....... that is cherished.)

3-Must go to Nathia gali its secluded and peace ful.
4-You may visit other areas of Galiyat or may opt for Kashmir for a day or two.

From your beautiful suggestions i have made my mind to visit Mingora Swat and Galiyaat, is this good? Further i would like to know about the security situation at SWAT side, as i have never been there. Secondly i am still confused that should i take my car along or not?
Can you guys propose me itinerary which includes Galiyaat and as well as Swat Mingora sides, i would be very thankful to experts who can draw me detailed itinerary include hotels where should i stay and worth seeing spots.

I wont suggest you to take your car for this long drive.. as from karachi to isb you will reach in almost 2 days.. travelling and just a little risk ... as you are alone with wife.. and anything bad happened to you car.. you are in a big trouble..

Take a flight or any good service from karachi to isb.. make a stay in islmabad of one day.. Hire a cab...ask him to take you the places..roam here.. its a very good place...So that you get relaxed...

In evening...goto daewoo.. go to sawat ..go to malam jaba.. and if convient for you try skiing..a good adventure there..

Secondly one of the fellow member above said that visit muree... but one thing...which i dont like is that..muree is too crowded.. go to either ayubia or nathia gali.. spend time there..

Third option is go to kashmir nelum valley...really a quite and awesome place for honey moon.. You can go up to shadra valley... you can stay at kutton, keran valley..

no security issues in swat bro....... its a big city area (mingora)...... drive bhe bht less ho gai hai due to good road in malakand pass... itni drive nai hai u will be more comfy in ur own car

And do take plenty of warm clothing along because, compared to Karachi, it would still be quite cold in Swat or Galliat in the first week of March, especially after sunset.

if u come to Northern Side, spare a day or two for Lahore.... i will take u to different places of Lahore, if u want.

imran bhai here i am at swat need any sort of help will be mine pleasure.when u will be at pindi note this number(0345-5025252) call at this and book seat in shahid coach a best alternate to deawoo bus.get in to bus at 4.00pm from pir wadhai and u will reach to swat in 4 hr app at 8.30pm in some steps u will get hotel and if need help i am also some steps far from there...
visit where ever u want nothing to worry about security everything is quit ok here.u just have to bring ur and bhabhi ji's c.n.i.c with u.and trust me u will enjoy ur honey moon even more than u have planed.
