Sui Gas Sub Meter

Dear Members,

Please guide can we install a submeter on gas line if there are mutiple user in same building . If yes, than what wiil be the cost.

procedure requires the owner of building filing for sub meters. Tenants can not do it without owners' permission.

there is an application form to be obtained from SNGL or SSGC office near you.
after documentation is accepted by the respective office they will send a surveyor who will inspect the premises. after 7 working days of inspection gas office will issue a demand note for deposit & connection charges. time frame is 40 days for meter connection after deposit receipt is submitted.

Is it true it will take three year to install new meter , if there are mutiple portion of a property.

no sir after the survey by gas inspector and gas line routing, the gas office demand note shall be paid. after the payment is made at bank and the copy is submitted it takes 65 to 100 days, tops.

how much it cost for a meter i.e Demand Notice ?

Reminds me of an interesting "waqia"
When my house was under construction first thing we did was apply for gas connection as those days for some reason it would take ages.
Then nawaz govt came and they introduced 30k fee for quick installation and we paid that was well but no avail, is house was under construction we had time and we're patently waiting.

One day I mentioned the ordeal in a thread related to gas connection on pakwheels and a gentleman asked for application number the very next day my gas connects was installed, I mailed him expressing my gratitude but never heard back.
Yes that gentleman was a man of honour he did me no favours just that he ensured me service which was promised to me.
PakWheels is an interesting place indeed.
