in my opinion nd experience i should say kenwood xw-1224D is the worst subwoofer produced by kenwood...

i've been searching around for its T/S parameters but i couldnt find any useful details. could you snap a pic of its manual or post those parameters here?

it meant for highs no lows...nd highs r still not better than type r 12 when tuned to 38hz !!
so in my opinion it's waisted !!
try 2 12 cv vmax > very gud balance woofer then kenwood exc..

u r comparing wid price range ... plus type r iz 700 which exc iznt. vmax iz more expensive den dis so point of comparison iz also wasted. kum price mei much better sound den d2,d4 deta hai ye.

type r 12 is 500rms...new one is 600wrms so 700 wala apney kha dekha mujhe bhi batao ??

vmax iz more expensive den dis so point of comparison iz also wasted

im not comparing vmax with excelon read my post again bhai....all im saying k excelon is meant for bakwas highs whereas vmax nd type r's r gud for lows bt their highs r still better than exc....instead going for exc one shuld find 2nd hand vmax or type r 12 to fulfill their needs...btw price of exc is around 7-8k whereas vmax is 9-10k not a big difference !!

2 308 d4 on vtrek at 1 ohm tuned at 40hz would kill 2 excelon at 40 according to my experience !!
yakeen nahi ata tw try krlo bhai i can arrange u 2 d4 excelons in mint condition just give me 14k !!

Sirs CV, JBL Power, Rockford P3, MTX Thunder 75, kICKER CVR and Type R all are very versatile and tunable high output SUBs.

Kenwoods 1224 and WPS1D both do wonders in sealed box and they also works best with kenwood AMPs and more power then rated.

Fusion Powerplant Subs are also very good.

wht i meant in 1st wz not upon price... not wz missing... u did on sound... n i wrote wrong of type r. itx 500.. buh on d expensive note for budget. n u r a fan of d4 tu useless of tawking on it... i tried dem buh i dint love dem abit. har aik ka apna verdict hai. i given mine.

hahaha koki dude....im not crazy about this kenwood sub, its just that i had a box design for it so i thought what the heck lets mess around.

but now im drooling over the latest kenny release, w3013. If i can just get the detailed T/S specs from somewhere i could c how it would perform in my existing box.... hmmmm
currently running w3012 in sealed, soon to be ported!
