Asalam o Alaikum am new here actually am planning tour karachi to islamabad with family and i have toyota corolla 2013 altis sr i just want to ask can drive safe in summer or not is say phly jaa chuka hu bur winter mai not in summer koi resk to nahi hoga janay mai garmiyan hain drive krna safe rahay ga ya nahi and just mai hi drive kru ga please 2 3 din mai nekalna hai thori help kr dein thanks and kis kis chez ko check karwa lu janay say phly and gari heat to nahi krti summer mai long drive pe

If driving is only option with family then follow these advices before

1. Check your headlights front and rear
2. Fully service your car exterior and interior
3. Service your radiator and check for leakage, fill with Toyota coolant
4. Put new Engine oil, oil filter and Air filter
5. Check condition of gear oil. If it has consumed 40,000 Km or approaching near 40K, then better to replace before leaving
6. Replace Fuel filter(petrol)
7. Check wiper blades
8. Check tyre conditions and strictly maintain 30 psi pressure
9. Also check spare wheel, jack, pana, tool set
10. Recommended to buy spare air compressor for safe side
11. As you are with family and alone driver so try to take frequent rest, in this way both u and your car will have adequate rest
12. Always fill your petrol tank to full. In highway, never let your petrol less than half. ATLEAST YOUR PETROL TANK SHOULD HAVE HALF FILLED ALWAYS

I dont know why people are suggesting to change so many things. If so much is to be replaced then get an air return ticket and come back. Lol. Hadd hai.

Ive just been woth family from karachi to quetta and all i did was tire puncture and air pressure check, battery ka pani, engine oil (see when the change is due, only then change. You can stretch full synthetics upto 10k). Drive slow and enjoy your journey.

Bhai, single return ticket is of Rs. 52,000/= per head so family of 6 members will average cost Rs. 312,000 by Flight while all expenses inclusive of petrol will cost u maximum Rs. 40 to 45 Thousands

Merey Saala yesterday returned round trip in Corolla 2005 from Karachi to Islamabad to Karachi in petrol of Rs. 27,000(Modified engine with 1.6)

I drove from isb to jacobabad in the month of june, a few years back. The best part is that there is no traffic on the highway due to extreme heat. Worst part is the temp that definitely take a toll on your car. If you have a reliable car go for it. Do not travel at night. Drinking bottled water wont be available till you reach rahim yar khan so keep plenty of that in cabin. If you keep it in trunk it will not be consumable due to high temp. Drive safe and have fun

By drinkable bottled water i mean nestle / Aquafina type renowned brands. Plenty of locally filled 2 no bottles will be available at every toll plaza. Moreover always keep a 10 litre type bottle full of tap water in trunk for unforeseen situations.

Alhumduillah trip was complete thori si problem howi thi lodhran mai before lodhran petrol bharwaya tha pso kay pump say 100 kilometre kay baad gari kay fuel pump mai masla aay gaya and fuel filter mai kachra chala gaya kafi and baki trip was great alhumduillah thanks to all thanks for support ️

That’s nice. Corolla’s are reliable then anything. I’ve done karachi to islamabad on my corolla twice, but i got really tired as i was alone. Took a stop in Sadiqabad.

Bro that is the case with you because I believe you take care of your car and probably have periodic maintenance schedule. People here neglect their cars and it is wise to advise them to perform all these checks before they embark on a long journey, being stranded with your family on a motorway is an experience that no one would wish on their worst enemy.
