Dear Said NO bz I didn't wanted ur black mamba get hurt much during the operation. 2 main ustaad with a bunch of little angles jumping in out from ur mamba .. oOOoo.
Many things will be in line like wiring.. Cutting.. Installation for adjusting the level with roof etc & then closing back the all things to it original place etc...
The sealing of roof and air packing etc .. The thickness of sunroof and ur car roof should match correct as well as the seals for it etc

BUT

if u find a place whr there u have heard or seen sm project that it was done clean by sm professional skilled person which I have seen many PW have recommend then y not Go Ahead and infect em there to be with u & if u need any thing em there to help u out or to send Pakistan also em there to sponsor ur this project ..

Remember u have to risk and until u didn't take risk wht u have enjoyed & this is not that much complicated, only u have to select the correct material & correct workshop to make it done

^^î think you've made your mind,if you come accross fsd here is a skilled guy here,i saw him doing this sorta stuff with an LC though i dont recommend you but still if you want it,i'l ask the guy.

@Immad: Yes you are right, I have made up my mind to explore this option to the nth level however i will only execute it if and only if i am confident enough that it will be done with out any glitches..... It would be a great help if you consult the guy who did this for LC and PM me the details .....

Coming over to Fsd is not a big deal and i can visit on 1 days notice - might meet you as well

Man dont think sooo narrowely if you like and satisified then go regardless of originality and resale, Believe me im viewing your thread from start, I own 06 XLI and after your success project i'll install in my car. Have you any idea about total estimated cost, share it and also avalibility of after market Sunroof. Plus have u asked Honda showroom guys, if they do reasonable thn there'll b no doubt in installing.

If it would had been me decided to get sunroof , i,ll surely go to peshawar and get it done. I will do the khuwaari of going to Peshawar and get it done from an expert rather to risk my car and get it done from some1 whos work i havent seen. Contact Ehtishaam (Spano) for his expertise.

Hi All - Just spoke to Ehtisham (Spano ) and talked to him in detail about the project...... As per him he has succesfully installed the sunroof in more than 12 cars till now and none of them had any issues (H)(H)(H)

The fitting is as good as a Factory fitted SunRoof and no need to get any sort of paint work done after its installed :D:D:D

Now comes the bad part ---- As per Spano there is no after market sunroof available in Pakistan at the moment....... Spano committed that if i can arrange a Sunroof he will assist me in getting it installed for me

Now mates - the Million dollor question is where to arrange an after market Sunroof ?? i have checked some of the shops in lahore and they dont have any sunroofs available :S:S:S

Have you checked with HONDA 3s?? There will be must avalible cuz most hondaz have sunroofs.

Honda 3s would not sell Sunroof separately, just what i think, I am not sure about it!

I just called Honda. They have but.......for 1.8 l, just the glass is for Rs. 50810 and for the previous 1.6l, the price is Rs. 47070! Note that this is just for the glass, not cables, switch and votever extra you may need. But then, this is Honda........we need someone outside.

the price along with fitting must be somewhere around 40-45... i remember when i spoke with ehtisham, back then he said that the whole installation along with the sunroof would cost somewhere around 30K............
