SUNROOF EXPLOSION Honda Civic I-vti oriel 2018

I have a brand new Honda Civic I- VTI OrieL 2018 , That i bought from Honda city sale Kalma chowk , lahore , I was driving down at 50 km/h on main canal bank road ,about quarter of a mile before the feroz pur road under pass , no chance of any one throwing any thing from outside . mild weather time around 5;30 pm before aftar time , no car around , no overpasses , LOUD EXPLOSION SOUND , and then wind noice . slider was closed . was i pulled over an out outside to check and sunroof had a large hole in it , it appeared the galss was pushed up and outward , more then one / two of it missing . i also noticed the glass damaged the top roof and boot paint and scratches all over . i went to honda city sale kalma chowk lahore to report this , However i was advised to write to you directly , as it is a serious matter , it could have cost me great damage physically , i strongly believe that this is no accident , as a later found out that people had similier complains of sunroof exploding on this model and make , My car is kept in a cool covered garage , and i had merely taken it out at sun down . this was caused me great shock , as it could have resulted in a serious accident , right now it is HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD to even drive as glass can fly and damaged others .

I would like an immediate ANSWER , and compensation as the incident is through manufacturing fault of the sun roof . no outside factor was involved .
i would like HONDA ot get it repaired on an urgent basis ,
This car is still under warranty and i want honda to take responsibility to pay my damages ,

As this is a serious matter and i would have to consider . taking this to CONSUMER COURT , unless an immediate action is taken .

please find attached evidence pictures and damages , you can clearly see how the glass ruined my car , and it is concave appearance representing explosion from inside out ,
This is an urgent matter as the glass is still on the roof and it can get inside and cause further damage to me and my family .

I KNOW THAT HONDA IS REPUTABLE COMPANY AND WOULD TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY AND TAKE ACTION

This is the first time I've ever seen someone experiencing this - Very unfortunate, Allah ka shukar hai you're fine. I hope Honda take's this seriously because this does put a lot of questions about their quality.

Bro there might be quality issues in civic X, but this clearly indicated that something landed on top. Might be a stone for sure.

Heard of such an incident last year too when somebody threw a stone while the car was passing through an underpass. So this must be something like that too.

Yesterday I was on Canal road near Ferozepur road underpass and some kids threw mud-balls on my car while they were standing near the canal after their baths. One mud ball hit the driver side window, while the other hit the driver side door. No dents though.

Before reaching any conclusion that whether Honda is responsible or some stones thrown by kids, etc. I would personally suggest to get the failure / fracture analyzed by some third party expert or may be a forensic laboratory.

Agar Honda ko directly kahein gey k it's quality fault or Honda is responsible (one way or the other) aur un hi sey analysis / testing karwayein gey, then it might be possible k Honda sa'af mukar jye k ye aap ki ya kisi aur ki galti sey hua hai, hum iss k zimmada'ar nai hain! Aur wo sabit b kar dein gey, khwaa aap unhein jo marzi aur jitna marzi kehtay rahein!

First get expert opinion and detailed report from some third party well-reputed company, jo ye btayeye k asal mein hua kya tha? (May be they do some sort of forensic analysis)

And if found, that no outside source was involved in this accident and tragedy, it's quality related issue or Honda is solely at fault, then you may directly claim from Honda, and can also drag them to consumer court.

This is a serious issue, might be because of a stone. Get it analyzed.
New sunroof of this model costs around 82000rs i guess. if you have insurance get it replaced. And whatever you do please do not try to open/close/tilt it while its broken it will damage sunroof assembly lines and motors and cost of repair would increase manyfold.

In the mean while car can be driven by installing good quality covering sheet over the sunroof available at most car decoration shops.

I may be 100% wrong, but bzahir aesay feel ho raha hai jaisay kisi cheez nay bahir sey ander ki taraf push kia hai (one can look at the break pattern of glass). Asal mein kya hua hai, ye to investigation k ba'ad hi pata chalay ga.
In my opinion, Agar ander sey bahir ki taraf hota (due to suction, vacuum, wind, etc.), then glass breaking pattern would have been different:

(meaning if well-reputed, third parties exist for Forensic / detailed analysis for cars, then it would be best! Since, unn ki reports / results ko koi challenge nai kar sakta.

And cars k case mein owner hi ney pain laini hai because wo chahay ga k undeniable facts ayein jinhein koi challenge na kar sakay, aur forensic sey behtar meray khayal mein aur kuch nai hai.
Honda wagaira ko kya lagay? and wo pain kyun lein, ya kharcha kyun karein?)

Frame flex, tighter than spec sunroof fitting = BANG!
Seen it happen before. Notice that depression around the sunroof on 8th/9th Gen? It worsens with odo. The structure is flawed wrt stress dissipation. Long discussion, nevermind Honda won't buy it. Nobody will. The more you say the more you will sound like the flat-earthers LOL.
