What will happen after the 50 hp increase when the plates in your automatic transmission will be fried to a crisp after roughly 1000 kms of hard driving? Look into reinforcing the stock auto transmission as it is designed to handle not more than 200 bhp.

I already have a AEM SRI & DC Sports 4-2-1 Performance Headers. But that will only add 10 to 12hp . Add after market performance exhuast and at best you are at 15hp (Total). Compare $ / HP for these mods the cost is to high. As far as aerodynamics are concerned nothing can be done in a CL9.
I agree to prefer a supercharger compared to a turbo since it require less modification / fabrications and is mostly bolt on.

You do make a valid point there that's why i am not trying to be greedy and only desire 50hp which makes a supercharger more desirable compared to a turbo. As far as the AT goes i think it can handle more than 200HP. Have a look at the link below and you can see by reflashing the ECU hondata took a AT TSX (CL9 Equivalent) to 30hp and 26 ft/lb torque with no problems / attention required for the transmission. Hondata are professional people and i also could not find anything effecting the AT transmission for such gains on the TSX fourms.

we take a 200hp k24 to take it up to 250hp we need headers exhaust a cold air intake system good cams(skunk/BC etc) with upgraded valve train
we are at least talking about 100k+ need to rev high atleast 8.5-9k to make that power as for as far as super charger is concerned you need a branded one which again costs more then 3400+$ YES 3400+ if you want a complete branded kit from hondata with a pulley which will take you more then 1bar+ even the cheapest will cost u more then a turbo+superchargers dont make the amount of torque which turbo makes at the same boost level+superchargers are hard on the auto tranny as they make boost as soon as you rev and as far as turbo is concerned you can raise the boost anytime you want play with it more torque and in less $$ more power

they say performance doesn't come cheap :-)+ it isnt 50hp its the broad powerband with healthy torque figures which u will enjoy

Thankyou for the detailed response. Is my understanding correct that the ECU (KPRO etc) will go hand in hand with supercharger / turbo and just installing the supercharger / turbo may not be enough ?
I would need professional help in getting this done. Any idea who can help. Is HPR still open for business after the bahria race incident ? Anybody that you might have experience with.

if ecu is a prob then go for a vafc/neo
which is cheap although u can run 5-6psi on your stock honda ecu without krpo but u will be needing a AFC

@topic creator: u need to contact Furrukh (N20) n Ahad chaudary as both of them have K24 civics with kpro......2ndly best way for ur auto cl9 is supercharger kit from jackson racing or comptech both of them r eaton type blower....u already have bolt on i/h/e n it will give u more power by these additional bolt-on sumthing like 60 to 70hp.....u need to send ur ecu to hondata or u can buy the kpro or reflash from hondata for tsx auto.....there was blue Euro R with jackson racing supercharger in khi....i donno wheres tht euro R nowadays

i guess Kpro dont go with auto not a k user but thats what i heard go to hpr if they still provide the service i assume they do..
and yes u can use the stock ecu with boost only thing u need is a piggyback which is v.cheap as compared to the kpro and with the power u have in mind u shudnt go for a kpro just get a VAFC/NEO and 5-8psi u should be fine just take a note at ur wideband if u dont have one then like in the old days i used to read the plugs as u are in isb i cant tune it for you on the internet there are many pw users who know a thing or two about boost from ISB contact them they will guide u to HPR or whatever...and this is an open forum feel free to ask..

yes it used to own by Nadeem Khan then he sold it his friends who used to bring at the autocross in 2009.....since then i dont see at the autocross anymore

I dont know experiences, we went out to find one for a friend and as you expect its almost impossible to get. And we did figure out if some one would agree the price would be something you would not be willing to spend... I would suggest getting good pistons and cams (all that air intake and headers) that should do the job for you. I mailed Eric Aguilar back then and he suggested crazy cams like IPS.

I saw it almost an year ago, has totally disappeared now. I THINK I saw it again at DS Autos about 4 months back, not sure if it was the same car though.
