Supercharged Accord

Friends,

I am planning to get my accord CL9 a turbo or supercharger. Any body has any experience doing it. From where to get it ? What type ?

Going for hondata and bolt on mods or Supercharger / Turbo option ??

Suggestions plzzz

A CT9 BB turbo would be one alternative.

Atleast 50hp.

No racing car. Just want to have additional power under my feet to teach some bumm a lesson if needed. Getting a better car e.g MarkX etc is not an option.

Any idea where to get it from or who can install it. I know Jackson, Comptech & Vortech makes supercharges for Acura TSX / CL9.

HPR perhaps ?? i wont mind even settling for a second hand.

get any small-medium sized turbo ct12,m24,t3/t4,(6000-15000/-) or any turbo that u can find ill see if i find one.. get a custom made manifold for it (4000-6000/-)

Front mount intercooler(7-15k) dont go to big cause you wont be needing too much boost the small ones will work fine...someone on pw was selling check the buyers and selllers thread

boost/charge piping custom made(6-10k)

labour chagers fitting etc dont know 4-8k maybe depends on whome u doing work on

atleast 2.25inch piping(4000)

boost guage(dont know the price)

boost controller(7k)

Bov(5-7k)

a good fuel pump(10k maybe) walbro 195lph atleast

FPR(optional/6k)

and now the ecu

your choice
k-pro/k100/reflash/or a piggy back vafc/neo etc

a wideband and u are all done 6-10psi u got 50-100hp in hand
calculate the rough amount...

If you are looking for 50Hp gain then going for a turbo is a silly idea in the first place.

Thankyou for the detailed response. Is my understanding correct that the ECU (KPRO etc) will go hand in hand with supercharger / turbo and just installing the supercharger / turbo may not be enough ?
I would need professional help in getting this done. Any idea who can help. Is HPR still open for business after the bahria race incident ? Anybody that you might have experience with.

I did think of it (Frakenstine mod) but i heard no body had good experience in getting it properly tuned. Correct me if i am wrong.

not really,even the 50hp gain at times is alot,n 50hp is alot,one can always raise the boost n upgrade internals n to a bigger turbo as well for more hp
