hmmm best of luck on the sale
while doing some research:D
I came up with some useful info on the TOYOTA SC12 and SC14 superchargers
SC12
the SC12 came equipped with the 4A-GZE(1.6l {1587 cc} DOHC EFi Supercharged)
in USDM and JDM version of the AW11 MR2 in 1986
and again it came on the 1989 AE92 Corolla/Sprinter GT-Z in FWD format ,
the last version of the 4A-GZE that was rated 170hp came in the AE101 Corolla/Sprinter
the unit has an approx length of 249mm , width of 148mm and a height of 254mm, it weighed almost 10.8kg's
and the air displacement was 1200cc.
SC14
the SC14 came equipped on the 1G-GZE (2.0l {1988 cc} DOHC EFi Supercharged)
which was installed in many full size sedans from 1985 to 1991 such as
Toyota Crown GS120, GS121, GS130
1988ā1990 Toyota Mark II/Chaser/Cresta GX81 GX71
and the GZ20 Soarer
the unit had a length of 311mm, a width of 148mm and a height of 254mm, it weighed almost 11.9kg's
and the air displacement was 1420cc.
Both of these superchargers are roots-type positive displacement superchargers.
The rotors are fluorine resin coated. The units have their own lubricating oil, 130cc (Toyota part number 08885-80108.
Total gearhousing capacity is 130ml).
they have an electronic clutch for the engement and disengagement of the supercharger the electromagnetic clutch installed on the supercharger, allows it to freewheel when it is not needed. The clutch is controled by the engine's electronic control unit (ECU),
Stock boost is regulated to about 0.7 bar, and the units are normally driven at 1.25 times crank speed.
Thank You.
