Superpower is re-known local china 70cc maker specially its very popular bike in Karachi & It is manufactured in Khi as well. Around couple of weeks ago they launched new variant of 70cc with improved quality. Which they are claiming is according to japanese standard which we are made fool of even Honda is not providing the actual quality. I did not like the branding of bike but yes I can understand their claim which is justified best quality claim is japanese standard for this nation. We can not expect new changes or new engines what we have or destined to lets accept it.
I think SuperPower has taken good step by adding an quality variant in lineup. I am not sure of what exact changes they have done & still yet to see bike in person at showroom. But from tvc it seems that they have installed CD70 like parts as turn signal, lights, seat, seat bar, tail up muffler & grips. Rear Axle pull out mechanism from chain cover side & Suspension seems similar to CD70 well this has been done by other manufactures but quality is not same hope these jumps are not only in look same but working wise same also. They claim improved engine quality. This would be key if they have improved necessary parts like carburetors & engine parts. Price difference is quit big personally I hope they have done this as well. I have not liked the branding of "Tokyo 70cc" this is too much exaggerating. Regular SP70 price is 53k while Tokyo 70cc 65k. Chances of success are very low in this price segment. First customers would obviously be old SP70 users if really the quality is given. It may grab some attention in market.
Conclusion if the cosmetic parts quality is same like CD70 & this variants includes changes in engine parts as well. I believe decent choice why pay only for brand logo of Honda. Chinese 70cc have little bit more powerful engine & are fun to ride. If quality parts & little bit more durability is added. I think decent choice to buy & enjoy.
