get a good condition surf minor repaints one or a original color one brv is a waste in my opinion but the nonetheless it will be brand new
New car is always new bro. Never choose that much old car over new.
If you are not bothered by maintainence then surf.
suggest you to take a test drive in brv first - in Lahore its available in 2 working days. peace of mind brand new car. but if you want to offroad and drive on rough/unpaved surface then surf is the only answer!

Brv anyday...Buying a huge old car just because you want that big car image will keep you spending a lot of time and money unless you are really into restoring an old surf.

Surf is a strong muscule SUV. OUTSTANDING suspension, voluminous interior and ever green sort of thing. If you get hands on a very clean Surf, then eyes closed, go for it.
Brother most of the used cars available in Pakistan especially which are 15 + years old are piece of junk. Question you are asking is really a no brainer every time new BRV unless you have money to waste and more time to wasting visiting workshop try to keep the SURF on the road
If you are considering 2003 surf and also ready to buy brand new BRV I guess your purpose is to buy some vehicle which has better ground clearance.
Surf 2003 3rd Gen was king 4x4 at that time and if i was given choice of less driven Surf vs BRV vs Vitara I will go for SURF, but right now 15 year old vehicle can be troublesome as mentioned by many friends.
I would recommend Suzuki Vitara is best buy in your budget.

Do not buy a brv it's a complete waste of money I bought one last year in june and one in May this year.Now I have sold both ALHUMDULLILLAH bought them as a seven seater which practically they were However both cars were same in quality Squeking sound from door chanells (rubber) as they get dry and hard in the first one I even had them replaced under warranty Secondly the hook holding the middle row seats get loose with frequent use at about 5000 km and there is a loosening developed which makes a creeping sound Atlas has deprived us of the real brv buy compromising on quality and basic features of the international modelsSo think twice of the brv decision
