Suspecting An Illegal Vehicle Trafficker/Mafia

Was skimming through heavy bikes to buy in Facebook Marketplace.
Found a Yamaha R1 1000cc bike for 2.5 lakh!

Got hella surprised and contacted the seller. His explanation : No custom duty!

Clicked on the seller's page, and I was revolted by what I saw.

Go to the seller's page and you will find a plethora of such amazingly too-good-to-be-true prices for expensive cars.

Also, read the descriptions. All of them are non-custom!

No license plates.

The seller even admits to giving duplicate papers of the cars! (Look in the description of the second link)

DAMN. I think I just found a car mafia guy.

On top of that, I saw a listing of that seller for a 2020 CH-R, for 18 lakh. BUT, I check the license plates pics in the ad, and they were utterly suspicious and dubious, 69 69 in low quality print, from a seemingly outside country.

Any advice? Need confirmation for my theiry, and then gotta file a complaint to the FIR

Well, they will also claim to do delivery at your home as well. Then they will ask for advance money of around 1.5 to 2 lacs. After that they will block you for good.
I've never come across an NCP Kia, instead seen Audis, BMWs and all the Japs car. Correct me if I am wrong though.

A well known scam.
Some might even delivers it as well. When I used to live near HubChowki balochistan, the NCP all the way from quetta to the buyer's house would gets delivered. Then there was one guy who got scammed for 7 lacs in Swat, KPK. Mostly it's scam and if not then it's illegal.
They have tons of facebook pages and they do bargain there.

There are organized cartels of NCP vehicles.
from an importer to customs officials, motorways police provincial police posts are all very well knitted into the business.

There is variable price for delivery locations. Between Chaman / Torkham to Khi, Lahore, Isb, and as far as upto Gilgit & Hunza. from JDM 660 to 26 seater Coasters are available.

At agreed price of delivery in addition to price of vehicle an agreed down payment is required. Delivery time is approx: 2 - 3 days depending upon the delivery location.

Physical inspection and personal 1 to 1 interaction is basic requirement of business transactions specially about NCP vehicles. For such business deals online or via social media, without physical inspection or a trusted intermediator It is a BIG NO.

such businesses are thriving because there is no electronic integration & verification system of documentation is in place. Thank you to 18th Amendment. Provinces are autonomous authority.

Customs (FBR) clearance electronic GD data for vehicles is not adopted by the provinces to verify & integrate into their vehicles registration system. They are still using paper communication via Pakistan Post to verify the import documentation from different customs ports clearance. which takes usually 8 to 18 weeks. There is speed money involved for quick processing. However when official data is received over back of turtle all such vehicles get flagged which are under forged papers. i.e transfers & files blocked.

But, I got your point on Vehicle smuggling. Heard much of it myself. Anyways, let's wind this up, we'll leave it for the authorities to handle.

buying written off vehicles usually is a less than 40% price game. Even less if the guy selling it in Pakistan has a nice network of auto theft in other countries.
