Having CNG fitted Honda Civic 2003, I feel all the four shocks are not performing up to the mark. Moreover there is also a huge leakage at power sterring oil container and sterring seems to be a bit hard. I was planning to visit Honda at Qaideen but their rates are scaring me. So, should i visit the person pointed out by Zulifqar bhai for the work?

Moreover i m also experiencing a very bad millage on petrol, the cylincer is showing a black dust like deposits which when touched with finger are seen. Do i need full tunning of the car? Should i go to Honda for tunning purpose or some where else.

The lase question is about my car's brakes, i feel a grrrrrr sound even i apply a brake at speed breaker, and when i apply it suddenly i feel that the car is slipping forward and it has ruined my confidence on brakes. Again i need to know where should i go, Honda or somewhere else. plz help, waiting for guidance from any expert especially Xulfiqar bhai!!!

PW member told me that in Saeed manzil, there is a market of custom made mufflers /exhaust for bikes. Can anyone tell about it.
What's the exact location (better if pointed on Google maps). Anyone has any experience.
Need to change stock exhaust of GS 150 to exhaust with heavy bike sound.

there is only one saeed manzil in karachi and one has to be pretty blind to miss the exhaust fabricator market.

Rubber market is next signal from Tibet Centre when you are coming from Tariq Road or Shahrah-e-Quaideen or from Numaish from M.A. Jinnah Road.

The ancient big block building opposite Tibet Centre is Mama Parsi School you will keep going and cross Tibet centre straight then take first right from the signal and you will reach Rubber market anyone will guide u from Tibet Centre its one way so you have to come from wrong way or take a circle from one block.

My Liana 2008 need new engine foundation. Are there any good place for this and other suspension bushes?
Does the decorated suspension guy at Saeed Manzil also work on engine foundations and other suspension rubbers.

he is suspension specialist & knows his JOB very WELL. , but if you provide the engine mounts he may change at an extra charge, but be prepared to accept a denial of such service.

recently visited Abdul hameed & sons for my corolla 2011 gli racket and dead shocks diagnostic. The owner Afzaal is quite professional and good in explaining technical terminologies. Racket guttering, Steering work, Bushs, 4 jumps repairing , labor , total cost was 11,000 Rs. It took around 6-7 hours as 3-4 other vehicle repairing was in progress at the same time.

The result is amazing and now the car is behaving like new one have no sound from the bottom . The only thing I have noticed , the steering is now a bit hard, bue he said dueto new bushes etc it will be ok after running. I will suggest to go there at 11:00am in the morning.

So after driving with screwed up suspension since last year finally got my car fixed
These guys are very good at their work take care of every minor detail and are highly recommended for Karachi folks
The total work was done in 21k
Although Afzaal Bhai charged 6k for shock repairing and all fittings rest all were parts and I realized the joys of having a non market car
It took around an hour to find its original tie rods and another 45 mins to find a shock mounting and they are pricy
All in all the car drives very smooth and no annoying noises

Which car?
I've 0'12 city. Although city has a stiff suspension but the rear seems to sound 'thak' when I pass over pothole or bumpy damaged road compared to front. Does it really sound so back from the rear suspension? City owners? Should I visit Mr.Afzaal?

There is only place that actually repairs struts and shocks - they even make new ones and the old ones they make are gas pressure ones. Its on Saeed Manzil rubber market, they are a family business since I think the birth of Pakistan itself - the shop is actually the front to their house. Go to saeed manzil and ask for the shock repair shop, they also remove and install them there. They are not cheap though. A set of 4 refurb struts for daihatsu charade used to cost Rs 7000/- in 2004 if your old ones were not busted and scratched. But you could ask for any sort of setting, smooth, sport etc, but I dont think they would do sport for you unless you are their "trusted customer" because sport shocks are very hard compared to regular ones.Also make sure you install new boots over the strut pistons to protect them from dust and mud.
