I also visited Afzal bhai's shop yesterday for my Corolla SE saloon 2003. All 4 shocks were dead 2 of them were even non repairable. Afzal Bhai replaced those 2 with some matching shocks and then repaired all 4.
My steering was fine so he recommended to manage until it is running.
6000 Rs was for repairing shocks.
1000 for 2 extra shocks he provided from his stock.
4000 for parts. Steering buses kit, Kenchis buses and other shock parts etc.
In the end gave me Rs 500 discount as I was insisting too much.
Total 10500 Rs.
My Steering used to shake on applying brakes in speed. This problem seems to disappear 95%. I still feel a slight shaking.
I am wondering number of noises which were already low, remained same after the repairing. Drive feel is a little better but not much(I guess because Corolla springs are too strong that they give feeling of shocks).
Agri Auto authorized dealer in Plaza, gave me rates of 9500 for front and 5000 for rear. If any one has experienced Agri Auto new shocks, please do share their experience. I asked Afzal Bhai his opinion about new shocks, he said new are hard so are not recommended.
