i m wonder y suzuki that known as cheep prizes cars in whole world but why expensive in pakistan
Whats in Mehran more than 4.5lacks
if u preffer economy then also spending money advance to overcome econmy problems
Explain with examples and specs. to suzuki be so high

NOt just suzuki , each and very company i selling expensive cars in pakistan and the reason is that there are only few small cars here in pakistan and the people have no other option rather than buying these cars . now have a look at Hyundai its an korean company so its prices should be cheap but the price of Santro is above 6 lac . . .

toyopat, Mehran's maximum price is 390,000 with CNG starting from 331,000. Yea, Alto VXR is expensive & its prices starts from 419,000 to 499,000 with CNG. I believe Govt. is responible for raising prices of cars, They doesn't got sensible law markers, If they had we would be making our own laws but still we're runing britishers law & those laws were implemented when peoples were slaves in central asia & still obeying those laws in pakistan.

may be because there is no serious compition to suzuki from other car makers in pakistan. because if there is real compitition there is a fight and if there is a fight there is price wars and price of the cars comes down

ya if the price comes down cause of competition then the quality will go down also; example is Honda cd 70 and cd 100 motorcycles.

I think PAK Suzuki have made it to through a generatrion now and they are in one of the market leaders in automotive industry, the more you have expeience the more you can do buisness. The Suzuki people no the Pakistani goverment very well, infact I think may be there is some kind of hidden contract between suzuki & our goverment on sharing bases. This price hike problem is just like other goverment issues but lets hope for a better future.

People are buying and sellers are selling. This is the satisfaction that everyone has in their minds. we cannot blame one company. the only comparison is that who is the worst of them all, and thats it. exploitation is at its best all around.

Even people who are affectees of earthquake are not spared. robberies, kidnapping and many other crimes are taking place at affected places. Its a matter of oppurtunity, whoever has got an oppurtunity exploits it to its full in all fair and unfair ways. This is exactly what our auto industry is doing to us. we give them oppurtunity and they exploit it to its full.

Hunchback 5 is such a LUsser, Hunch are u SUZUKI's employee or something as u are favoring them a lot.

Its just that there is no price regulating body or government agacny here even if they exists they take brie and let these care dealers run their monoply ... IN simple words , the money u pay is more than the Quality and quantity of the product. As for example the Corolla here is about $ 22K US dollar, but there in US its only 12.5K to 16K fully loaded, and when i say fully loaded that is something of no concept in pakistn, ( fully loaded is - Auto transmission, automatic doors and winmdows AC, cd player , including Sun roof, if it available, floor mats, color of ur choice, alloy rims, abs brakes, leather seats and alot more and ofcourse bigger better , engine.

So now U tell me where is the decency of paying a 22 K $ -- roughly 14 lackhs for the average base model here in PAJKSITAN.

Oh also forgot to mention the 3 yrs or 36,000 miles factory warranty which ever come first, free of charge aswell

bECAUSE THEY ARE GOOOOOOOOOOOD.I WILL GIVE THEM FULL MARKS.I ALSO HAD A WARRENTY FOR MY CULTUS FROM SUZUKI COMPANY WHEN I DID 1000 I TOOK IT FOR INSPECTION which was free THEY had so good presentation they took almost 2 hours and made my car extremely fiiit.they adjusted all and also shinned my car bY jet wash finally then incharge for fuLl customer satisfaction took me for a driving test.i couldnt bELIEVE MY SELF WHEN MY CAR ON AC CNG WENT FOR 150 IN JUST FEW SECONDS.I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION IT WAS CARAVAN MOTORS.

There were days when cars used to be a luxury but now it is a necessity of life. The purpose of cars is to take you from point A to B. Well some like to travel in style while others (Like me... LOL) doesnot mind anything with the wheels.
The quality and pricing of cars has been a debate since long time now. Every one keeps on cribbing one way or the other about quality or price. Whatever is the reason for high prices / poor quality, the question is that ?are we going to stop buying the cars because of these reasons, I think NO (in capitals please). This is the point which car makers know well.
There is a saying "beggers are not choosers", which fits very well here.
Thw whole scenario is multifactorial.I think monopoly of car makers & political control/policy are the major factors.
The situation will improve if more car makers come to pakistan and the competition builds up. Secondly if car imports are allowed on easier terms.

Guys, don't forget that our government has got little options for revenue collection and car sale is one of them. They don't control car prices 'cause higher the car price, higher the GST and oooolala!!!! no kidding!!!!
