Face lifted Toyota's, Honda's and now the new Alto which is not so new as the country is flooded with same JDM's.

After so much hype what do we get a stripped down base model.

PakSuzuki should have released two separate automatic variants, one AGS and the other CVT, just like the JDM Alto base F variant is AGS and the higher trim X is CVT.

Yr yeh discussion sirf transmission pe hi a k ruk gaya hai.... Look at the other details aswell. Like right now I am really interested in knowing if the Japanese Manual Alto has all the same parts as Pak Suzuki's launched Manual or not.
I have test driven VXL and VXR both and I own a L package Japanese Alto.
Trust me baaki to baad ki batain hain aap sirf side by side gari kharri kr k paint ki quality hi daikh to to Local se dil kharaab hojae ga. My Jap alto is Silver (even now in original paint has very smooth and classy texture) and VXL bhi silver hi thi test drive waali it had grainy paint, really bad quality.
And drive ka to poochain hi mat VXL mai I could feel jerks in gear change where as the japanese alto is extremely smooth and comfortable.

Anyways diff ka to sab idea hai hi which is why I am interested in Buying another alto in manual. SO I just want to know k Japanese Alto mai koi masle etc nikal ae to same local ki tarah kaam etc hojae ga ya Local variant ki transmission and engine settings etc different hain?

There's a reason it's called local my friend, no comparison with Japanese version. However we get very abused vehicles here so that's another case but on any given day zero meter Local vs zero meter Japanese cannot be even compared.
