I kno my mechanic did a lot of Alto Pakistani 660cc swaps. I test drove few cars he converted I was impressed by the torque and power of the car tht was definitely not under powered. He says owner claim 14 to 16 kmpl avg with auto 660cc. In Japan this car came with 660cc so its a straight forward swaps and each and everything available Japanese. Interior, suspension parts, eps, power windows, Japanese seats at reasonable prices.
After test drive I was also interested in buying alto and doin the same but the cramped up cabin of alto was the issue for me.
Cost, 660cc engine is around 65k and if u do a proper swap and buy Japanese alto radiator and eps other parts it will be around 100 to 120k.
This 5th gen alto also came with k6a and f6a so it's not this car not made for 660.
Pakistani car market is mostly driven by idiot dealers they will try and make all kind of excuses to buy ur car at cheap price
I sold my two corolla engine swapped cars 1st swapped car for 100k profit. 2nd for 125k profit. So the buyer who knows what he is buying will pay the price, just show some patience while selling.
