Suzuki Alto 2016 AGS(Triptronic) Transmission lag/jerk

I recently bought Suzuki Alto 2016 from a Showroom in Karachi. It is with AGS Triptronic Transmission. Every time car shifts to higher gear it gives a small jerk. Sometimes specially when I go soft on pedal I feel more jerks. Since last day, on drive mode it is automatically changing to Neutral. Car meter shows 18k reading

AGS will not change gears smoothly like a normal / CVT gear if you keep the accelerator pressed. The formula for AGS gear is, that you need to lift your foot from the accelerator when you want the car to change gear. Once the gear shifts, press on the accelerator again. You should not feel a jerk this way.

However, I am not sure, why your car is shifting to neural automatically.

I usually do that, lift my feet up, but still going down/up to 2nd gear gives a jerk when I press padal.

just raise your foot while shifting... that's the only thing

Thankyou. I was really worried after reading about the lag thing. Thought maybe I made the wrong choice. So lifting the foot before the gear changes won't give it a lag, correct?
