Well... One thing I fail to understand is that; we all condemn the Big 03, especially the Suzuki, for poor quality, exuberant prices, etc. and that they keep on increasing prices again and again without any logical reasons, etc. etc. but when it comes to buying them, all are willing to buy them, as per their terms and conditions.

Why do people buy them, if they have many reasons and concerns regarding Suzuki, big 03, Kia Picanto, and its products???

Unless / until all people unite and boycott these, this thing will go on happening and it will stop nowhere.

Hence boycotting will not be of any use.

Start Buying used cars for some time, may be even old models but in good working conditions. These car assemblers, the people who sell cars at own / profit / even more than invoice prices, etc. khudd hi theek ho jyein gey.

Its you! Us! The people! the General Public! who will decide their fate, and who have to decide their fate!

Don't get panicked, black mailed, waste your hard earned money on a product which is not worth it and buy in hurry.

Although quite difficult and not an easy thing, but you will have to Have some patience and look for alternatives if you want the things to get better!

Dear. Its the govt who does not make or apply quality policies when it comes to standardising the quality of stuff being sold in the market.
AND even if it is applied then the enforcers take bribes.
And not to mention the govt people also take kick backs while allowing plants to be set up.

Well tbh... People in China do not seem united. I have been there twice (Beijing and Shanghai) and have found everyone busy in smartphones, in their own, personal matters, and anyone hardly bothers or give a **** about anyone else!

Good thing is, jo Falahi Riyassatt ka concept Islam ney dia hai, wahan uska bohat kuj paya jata hai. There is no democracy there and people fear from their Govt. a lot. but other than this, people have been found to be happy and satisfied.

Their Govt. looks after them and automobiles policies in China. They need not to be united against car assemblers, in fact, as far as I know, you can not do any sort of protest there, especially against the Govt.

What you are suggesting is a very difficult task in Pakistan unfortunately. I know your intent is good but buying a used car in Pakistan is one heck of a job even then you r not sure about it. Finding a good condition car is one heck of a job and then u must already know the number of scams involved in used cars documentations as well so some people prefer to buy a new car from showroom in order to avoid all these hassle. Its the govt which must be forced to look into this matter by uniting and raising a voice.

But still, we can't compare India and Pakistan w.r.t. Automobile Sector.

Indian market is huge. They have more competition, more options, more localisation (I think its more than us), may be less taxes, the currency is strong, etc. All these things combined make the prices of cars in India quite reasonable. Their Govt. Can also be keeping check and balance on a no. Of things regarding automobiles.

Compared to that, our market is quite small, and our Govt. Tries to milk max. Amount of money (in the form of different taxes) from the automobile sector, without giving anything in return.

Rest @nickatnite Bhai can guide better regarding Automobile Sector in India and influence of their Govt. In this sector.
