Dear, I m from Dhaka, bBangladesh. my car is suzuki alto 660cc model 2013 miles 48500km. I m using mobil 1 0W40 engine oil. can any one confirm me best frequency of engine oil change. some one say 3000km or 6 month & some one say 15000km or 1year. which.

First of all, Welcome here Dear Brother.

Regarding engine oil and it's change frequency, 0w-20 and 5w-30 are the recommended oil grades for small displacement 660 cc engines. You can also consult your car's user manual in this regard, and also search here on this forum. There are multiple threads here, which can guide you in this regard.

I would personally recommend 5w-30, API SN, Fully Synthetic, genuine and original engine oil for your car, from any reputed brand. 0w-40 and especially 10w-40 are considered thick oils for 660 cc engines. You will feel a massive difference (improvement) in pick, power, mileage, performance, fuel efficiency, etc. of your car, after switching to 5w-30.

Regarding oil change interval, it depends on brand. Some oils can easily last 7,000-8,000 Kms (or even more), some upto 5,000 Kms. Choose the oil for best value for money, and on safer side, change after every 5,000 Kms or 06 months; whichever comes first!

And Always use genuine filters (air filter, oil filter, etc.)

consult your owner`s manual for oil recommendation. Use the thinnest viscosity that is mentioned in the manual

Which company's 10w-30 are you using in your Alto?

What's the odo meter reading and model year of your car? Is the reading authentic?

What's the engine health? Do you observe any oil consumption issues or smoke from the exhaust?

Hy, I received my Alto 660cc 2021 model 2 weeks back and it has almost covered 1500km. Suzuki Islamabad Motors I9 is recommending 10w40 and saying 0w20 is not recommended specifically for Suzuki Alto 660 by Suzuki Pakistan and if I want to change my oil grade to 0w20, warranty might get affected, and i'll be responsible then.
What would you suggest should i change my oil grade or not?

use 0w20. I have vxr 2019 model 17k driven, using 0w20 without any issue Alhamdulillah

as long as your vehicle is under warranty use only oil grade recommended by the 3S.
