Suzuki alto 660cc pak engine sound proofing

Sound proof sheet helps decrease engine noise.
Which grade oil should be used 0w20 or 5w30
Currently Suzuki has given 5w30 oil on first oil change
Japanese same car company recommended 0w20
Also Suzuki has that oil it maybe reduce engine noise because when I cold start it sounds like engine is struggling to be in running condition

In case of locally assembled, PKDM, Brand new 660 cc Alto, I would suggest to go for 0w-20 from any reputed brand.

Next choice may be 5w-20.

Lastly; 5w-30.

Reputed brands: Shell, Total, Kixx, ZIC, Caltex / Havoline / Chevron, Mobil1, etc.

Yeah I also want to put 0w20 but under Suzuki warranty. Suzuki has 0w20 available but they said not recommend for alto. I don’t know why in owner’s manual they’ve written 10w40 it is really thick engine oil. what should I do?

They are also not using that but instead 5w30 how I can void warranty if I put 0w20 officially available at Suzuki Pakistan

0w-20 is the most suited engine oil grade for this brand new, 660 cc PKDM Alto.

If your vehicle is under warranty, and you would like to carry the warranty, then unfortunately, you are left with no option, other than to follow Pak Suzuki recommendations.

5w-30 would also serve the purpose, but 10w-40, too thick for this brand new engine.

If they are not pouring it, and you insist them to pour it; then GOD Forbid, if anything goes wrong with the engine for any reason, they will not claim it in warranty and 0w-20 engine oil grade will be immediately declared the culprit.

They will say that this happened due to using 0w-20 engine oil grade, whereas in actual, 0w-20 can not cause damage to this brand new engine, unless / until the oil is fake or counterfeit.

Today i pour 0w20 engine oil from suzuki and the change i noticed in the car are:
Engine noise reduced little bit
Average increased
Good response on throttle - Allahamdulillah

When ever you change oil... you will feel difference in throttle response even with 10w40 sgo oil.
