Hi aoa my name is farhan and this is my first post in pakwheels forum hope to get my answerI wanted to buy alto 1000cc can anyone plz tell me the fuel average i have read alot of thread some says 8 some says 9 but they wont mentioned whether it was with ac or without ac so any alto owner plz tell me what is the fuel average of alto 1000cc in city and on long with and without ac And also shred some light on performance @capsat sir can u plz help me in that case
Fuel economy of alto is bad because it has carburetor technology
Brother can u plz tell how bad? I mean in number will it manage to do 10kmpl with ac? Can u plz tell me in that case on numbers? I have to buy an alto in 2_3days
There's a reason people use cng in alto. It hosts the same 80's engine that suzuki potohar had and its average can be anywhere between 8-10 in city.
Brother i live in punjab and cng already hike up to 120rs per liter same as petrol and cng is about 150 per kg so if i run it on petrol will i get 10kmpl with ac?
Wailaikum Assalam 8-10 is without AC. With AC expect less then 8.Better to save little more and go for cultus efi model.

And guys cng is really dangerous now a days due to no regular chekup my friend owned a alto and he claims 12 with light in city i dont know hes ri8 or not?
Yes you can get 12 with cng in city, but petrol's a completely different story.
Ok bro i think i have to go for efi bytheway mere dost ka kehna hai 12 city and 16 on long kuch samjh nhi aa rahi even a pakwheeler name @Farhansa sir claims alto do 10_12kmpl and one showroom.guy who is selling this alto to me claim about 13 in cith well im really confused
sir there is huge thread about alto if you search using search glass option on top right you will find the answers to help.
am not sure but there is an Pak Suzuki Alto variant which has EFI engine that may have better fuel economy.
Ok sir thanku very much for ur reply i am reading alot of threads on pakwheels on alto some people are saying 10 some 8 and some 12 so thats why im bit confused my family somehow insisted my too much to buy a alto i dont know why but they love it so thats why im asking uAnd sir if i buy alto and it gives me 9kmpl so can i install smaller jet in alto a senior pakwheelr install 85 and 135 jet on his alto and getting 15kmpl in city sir will it harm ur engine as ur not giving proper food And thanx a lot for ur reply
