You need CVT fluid not gear oil for this Alto.
and i think its Suzuki CVTF Green 2 recommended oil

Just bought a 660 cc Alto X 2015 model a couple of days back. Its 35k+ on the oddo. What are the immediate checks that I need to carry out? Whaf is the recommended engine oil? In islamabad/Rawalpindi which is the best workshop to go to for maintenance and oil change etc?

Suzuki Dealership is the best workshop for maintenance.
Go for 0W-20 as recommended by the manual which is not available easily and most oils in the market are fakes. So buy 5W-30 from Suzuki Dealership, Original oil filter of local wagon R.
Change Air filter: 1998 Honda City air filter fits perfect in this car and i think Aqua air filter is also the same size and brake service.

Other than that just check coolant level, brake fluid level and battery water level and you are good to go

What about brake pads? Do they also match with any of the local suzuki models?

Are you sure its a genuine car or are you sure its an X version.

And brake pads i have no idea. I used to have a 2006 Alto JDM too, at that time the front one's i think swift ya wagon r k lag jatay thay rear walay kabhi change hi nai kiay cause milay nai.

Now i have 2014 new shape Alto X and 23k done so far so abhi tak change karnay nai paray

Filhaal no idea i haven't checked so far.

But since the local Alto is launching soon i am not worried. Once it launches we will have all parts : brake pads front and rear, air press, shades, seat covers, floor mats, air filters , oil filters, ac filters each and everything easily available

Ohh nice when i was buying mine a year ago i hated the Alto because of its shape and never wanted it . I didnt choose any other like N Wagon or Nissan Days because of less availability of parts so i only had two option Wagon R Stingray or Alto and i wanted the Stingray.
I had a budget of 13 max and there were tons of Stingrays in Islamabad and Pindi like a 100 or so and i checked each of them and each was accident ed .Non-Accidented were of 14 lac which i didnt have at the time and hated the alto so i was about to book the Cultus VXL one with air bags and ABS as seemed a somewhat decent option i would get a 0 meter new car 2018 model but shity build quality

A friend of mine said i know a guy uske showroom pe chakkar lgain. It was 8Pm and i had decided i;ll go in the morning and book a Cultus but i stopped at his showroom saw a beautiful Black colored Alto X variant and when i saw the auction sheet it was 5 grade only 5200 Km driven i said sab bhaar mein jaye brand new JDM mil rahi hai 13 mein i took it the next day.

Old Alto don't have rpm meter. New Alto have. From rpm meter you can see current rpm.

sorry for very late reply but had the same issue with my alto 2009 changed both excel now I m good after 11k kharcha.

the reason is alto turbo automatic is not cvt it is just automatic shift gear.

**Can any body give idea about glove box? i own a 2007 model jdm alto, 2012 registered, glove box was giving problems, got loose, and now its missing altogether. i want to install a new one in it so that it doesnt look ugly. any idea , where can i get one and for how much? Also, can we get service and spareparts of jdm alto from 3s dealerships ?

You cant install glove box of any other car they wont fit. You need to find an original one and no 3S dealer will have any sort of part for JDM cars.
You will only get that in places like Sultan ka Khoo or bilal jung

I'm thinking of engine overhaul for Alto 2010/ 2013 import. Have someone already bought ring piston / head gasket or guide me from where I can get in Lahore?

Get the engine replaced...u will end up with a smile.. inshallah..overhauling is not a piece of cake for our mechanics...ur money will be wasted. Have a visit to Bilal gunj...and inshallah ap ka kaam ho jae ga... U will be back within 6-7 hrs..nonrunning required..nothing.. in my experience..after overhauling.. acceleration will be reduced..sounds will increase...car will heatup under load and finally u will waste good amount of time in achieving the running. Also don't worry about engine number change fear.

After max 30k kms..u will again be having a overhaul... Just find a good engine and enjoy..if u are unsure on getting the desired engine....there are good options..but first u need to finalize the process. Our mechanics can only overall Cultus/mehroo and after that they will remove thermostat as well..since they use jugaars. Don't worry if u have fear that engine number will change...
