I checked with a mechanic, he told its "chimtta goli" that making this noise. Goli is damaged and will be repaired by lathe machine. He ensured no noise after goli fix.
I thought to share with you.

Bro checked from another mechanic, he said same thing, chimmta & goli sound. I will get it fixed soon.

Chimta goli is next to front wheels. We are talking about sound from suspension on bumps.

hello brothers
i was looking for an alto 660 for my use…I've found one recently…this car is a white 2009 year and the basic model with power windows, phatta seat and manual transmission. car is fresh import and unregistered.
I have two questions.
1-does this model has abs?
2-how much should i pay for it?

This is my JDM Alto 2010. Only thing I hate about this car is the rear phatta seat. Have searched a lot in chah sultan for sofa seats but either it is not available aur jab kisi k pas mil jaye then they ask outrageous prices like 25k-30k so haven't done something about it yet.

Dear Umer, Hizaifa & all Alto owners!

I bought Alto 2007 last month, this week I checked its mileage (km/litres). To my surprise, it is hardly 12-13km/l within city without AC. Why it is like this? It's pick is perfect, engine sound is great.
Where problem is lying? Is this the genuine mileage of JDM alto? I was expecting more than 15km/l.

Kindly suggest/advise & share your Alto experience.

Bro i also used to get this sort of mileage because of rash driving, my max daily driving was around 10-15km. I used to drive rash to enjoy the amazing pick of my car
But now my daily driving is around 80-100 KM within city and I drive with light foot and now my car gives around 18 kmpl without AC.
For these 660cc cars, "Jitnay aram sa chalay gaye utni achi mileage karegi" . When you drive these car fast then their mileage goes worse.

Thanks for reply. Bro I checked its pick once or twice in start. But during this test, I put paddle soft, but still it did 12km/l. Though strange but I heard someone here about removing catalytic converter & getting more good efficient mileage, anybody knows?
I'm planning service of my car from a service centre, is it ok to wash engine by jet spray as conventionally service guys do? And apply oil below the car & engine? Advise please. Thanks

thanks @umer325 bro I'll definitely send him a PM then. Well I'd like to add my two cents about the mileage here.
I'm getting around 19-20kmpl within rawalpindi nowadays but I drive it with a very light foot and don't go beyond 70km/h . I also shift the car into neutral while going down a slight slope or approaching a speed breaker and red lights. That helps a lot.

Sir Removing Catalytic converter only helps when your car is driven about 100k KM and if the catalytic converter is blocked. Ehsan bhai removed cataltic converter on his Alto but there was very slight increase in his mileage. I think your car is 3 Speed Automatic and if its true then you won't get over 12-14kmpl within city, I guess.
No bro a Big no for washing engine. tell him to clean engine by Air. And agr phir bi wash karwana ha toh cover ECU 1st. And don't spray Oil+Desil under the car.

I also don't know to check if its 4 gears or 3 But i think you can check from gear shifting. how many times it shift in a run.
Sir you can never find appropriate mileage by 10 liters. Get your tank full and calculate its mileage on next tank.

From almost everywhere . Hyper-milling says that lower the rpm, lower the fuel consumption.
Get your tank filled till top. set trip A/B to 0. Record the total Km's you travelled in this tank. when your fuel finishes get your tank filled again till top and check how much liters it took to re-fill. divide covered KMs with the total liters your tank was fulled. You will get mileage per liter.

a little confused here, there are two tyres of JDM alto's ? one with indicators on bumper and the other with indicator's next to the headlight's. what's the difference ?

both are same. Just one of them is the face lift model.

Just got the car fueled up again. I had reset the trip A and Avg meter last time after top up and it took 28.3 liters to top up this time and trip A's reading was 584.5. So, the Avg comes out to be 584.5/28.3= 20.65 Km/L MashAllah. Car's Avg meter was showing 20.4 Km/L.
