Car looks in good condition MashAllah has the engine been over hauled or is it near that?
recently changed the timing belt and its bearing at 100k KMs. the engine has become alot smoother and silent as the timing belt bearing was giving noise after 50K. also got transmission oil changed, new brake pads and other lubricants changed. im in love with the car again. starts on a quarter of a crank in this harsh winters. as using solely on petrol since closure of CNG so got the timings adjusted too. in 1500 Rs or 13.26L of petrol the car only managed 120KMS in local commute in cantt for pick and drop of kids ,giving avg of just 9.04 KMPL. or Rs 12.5 /KM PATHETIC! on the other hand the same car gave me an outstanding 280KMS in same Rs 1500 or 13.26L of petrol giving an avg of 21.1 KMPL! costing me just Rs 5.35 /KM same petrol pump and same engine settings on highway driving !!! though i kept the speed constant at 80KMPH ! what a contrast!! My alti has given me once 300 KMS in one tank of CNG once.! again speed constant at 80KMPH and no AC as it was winters!
for info of all . got original timing belt from Suzuki Gujrat for Rs 610. when asked about the price of timing belt bearing it was a whooping 3600 Rs. thought doing some research. went to an original parts dealer in bazaar and inspected the bearing. he was quoting Rs1350 for it. the guy said suzuki uses NTN bearings Made in Japan and put it in a Suzuki bag and would sell it for double or triple the price.and inspected the bearing and it was made by NTN bearings japan. went to Suzuki jhelum to inspect the bearing and it was exactly the same bearing made by NTN in a bag with a Suzuki sticker on it. both exactly the same and same part numbers! the guy has a good repute for original parts so bought the same bearing for 1350. and when i removed the bearing from the car that was fitted from the factory and it was indeed the same and of same quality!! saved myself 2k on a bearing alone !! BEWARE: BE WISE AND DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THESE SO CALLED DEALERSHI*S !!
You got the timing belt pretty cheap..In my cuore I replaced my timing belt for 3.5k (toyota genuine) and an ntn bearing for 800. Suzuki dealerships also sell shell gear oil for 600 when it is available for around 500 outside. The colour of the bottle and stickers are different nothing else.

Thnx n no the engine has never been over hauled nor near to it. All stock and done more than 125,000kms on petrol. Recently removed CNG cylinder as well and after that car is performing great. Giving more than 15km/l which i have checked again n again to believe if its real coz previously its average on petrol was pathetic i.e. 8-9 km/l. I was planning to sell it due to its worst milage but now keeping it inshahAllah

whats this test is called?? a fitness test??Coz few days ago I called enercon Isbd office for this fitness test (which is required by my company to get 2014 entry sticker) . Enercon personal said that they have now no connection with such test facility and they have outsourced this activity to different workshops (normally authorized dealers).in lahore only toyota walton and toyota airport motors are authorized as per their website.
