@ahmadz_1, It is better to get it checked. I had bought a brand new Mehran some years back and at the first tune-up found that the gear-oil was less. So, don't wait for the first tune-up, just have it checked as suggested earlier by devilz_apprentice. Let's us know what happened.

Can anyone reply to the questions, what is the quantity of engine oil with filter change and gear oil is required for Alto.

@amjadch, I experienced the same thing with my brand new Mehran, that is y i have suggested him to check the gear oil.
As for your query, Suzuki Alto requires 3.5L of engie oil(including the volume for oil filter). 2.7L of gear oil is required.

Alto has following Plus points
1-Best AC in Category i.e. in 1000 cc
2-Very Good Fuel Economy on CNG 200+ Km in one 47kg cylinder
3-Doing more then KM/H 120+ with AC
4-AC can work on while car is standing still, like 1300 cc cars, none other in this category can do it.
5-Good torque of engine suite drive in northen area.

Low Points are:
1-very very slow
2-unfortable ride, not suitable for long hours
3-Leg space is even less then Mehran.

But i cannot compromise on quality of AC so i selected this car.

some of the things i ve noted in comparison of alto with santro (had been drvng santro for 4 years) so far are

1) engine seems to be very powerful
2) seats are comfortable, road grip is good. however suspension of santro was more good
3) interior is better
4) problem in gear shifting is reduced now, got gear oil checked n it was fine. mechanic said it will be fine after some running.
5) AC is quite good

the only thing which annoys me is the sound of carby engine. may be i get irritated cz am not used of it as i had been driving santro and city in the past and both were EFI silent engines.

@ahmadz_1, thanks for your reply and I am glad to hear that Alto has a good engine and the ac works well. With the summer approaching, it will make driving comfortable.
And yes, I have recently applied for a lease on Alto VXR (non-cng). I have paid the down-payment and now I am waiting for the car, hopefully soon. I have the whole setup planned, change of tyres, gear oil, coolant, change of spark-wires, etc.

Why the temp. gauge is near to Cold in the picture of your ALTO at 120kph

As I have seen normally the needle goes to middle of the gauge after few minutes of engine start...

This car have twin A/c one for interior and one for engine that,s why it is cold i never see a car going on cool engine @ 120:-!
