In Winter when you drive the car on high speed the engine cools and gauge comes down.
During my all highway trips on my alto the temperature gauge barely moves. Hope its clear now.

Hi there,

I just bought brand new 2011 alto and I am having trouble with the first and R gear. It gets really dangerous whenever i drive through city traffic.

I took it to Suzuki dealership and they say that its a manufacture fault. They checked the gear oil and its full. They say there is nothing they can do about it.

Anyone had same experience as me please share your experience or suggestion if you have any.

Alto is no doubt very good car i my self is a owner of this car what i experienced is the differnce in quality of 2007 and 2010 - 2011 the quality is significantly decreased the gear problem becomes common in it plus its body has become more light weight and one can feel the vibrations of rotation of the motor in engine compartment the vibration is not such noticeable but the one who have driven 2007 or previous versions of this alto can feel the difference.

I have a 2003 Alto. I live in Karachi & the car is parked by the Sea so it has gotten some rust here and there. But my cabin is still sealed, with the windows closed you can't hear anything from outside. There are still no vibrations or khut phut sounds even on rough roads. I think the built quality of 2002-2004 was much better than the later models. My car has been driven around 140k but still the engine is totally original. The locks,handles etc have never been replaced which shows the quality of plastic. Now they are just ripping there customers selling this car for over 7 lacs. I got it for i think under 5 lacs brand new.

put a coat of good car wax to protect the steel and paint from oxidation plus get your car serviced at every 4 months to avoid rusting from downside..

Dude i don't race with my alto. Besides charade was a great car specially Anda model. Its still faster than most cars in 1000cc class and some 1300cc cars but charades are very old now and very hard to find in good condition.

hi guys
yesterday i installed CNG kit in my ALTO. want to share the experience with u guys and hopefully i may get some advice from ya

1) car pick up reduced significantly as compared to petrol
2) on CNG with Ac car is almost a turtle

is this normal to ALTOs on CNG??
previously i was driving santro and there was not much differnce on CNG and Petrol

what u guys say and share ur experience of ALTO on cng

Get ur car tuned and new air filter it will hardly cost you 350 + 150 = 500
and you will feel the notiaceable difference

than still u feell no difference do share here!

If alto is not tuned properly on CNG its horrible.! My car alto at one time would'nt even move properly with 2 people sitting at the back... But then i got the air filter cleaned,tappets adjusted, plugs changed and few others things. After that it got much better.

boies ODO is at 1500 km ryt now. i thot engine wont need tuning that early. however i'll take my car to the mechanic for CNG adjustment and wil share my experience..

ahmad did u bot a new car then only go to suzuki workshop and claim the warranty.. bahir se keraya to warranty will be void..
