Sir this is generally a wrong concept.
I have shared above map details of islamabad. The actual islamabad is only 12km long which does not include any sort of highway.
From my house to the other edge of islamabad is just 12km. There are no highways in between. Signals every 300m. Takes good 20 minutes to reach other end of islamabad and if you think about on the same route in morning and evening office hours and school hours in lunch its a real real hassle.
Islamabads 12km has become a completely congested dump area especially in last 5 years thanks to irregulated housing societies in rawalpindi who travel all day to islamabad till midnight and keep it congested. This 12 km stretch includes 6 signals on just a straight road....so you can understand how many car stops and go.
I was in lahore just couple of weeks ago. Lahore has absolutely superb roads, everytime i goto Lahore i enjoy driving there. The signal free road going thru whole city is mesmerising and the ring road is just too good.
Anyhow, the i drive with utter patience and in relaxed mood always. I dont rush through traffic. But it does include ocasional sudden burst of acceleration.
