Comparing Prado and this dinky, I feel no difference in AC performance of the two

I have a difference of opinion here as I am not satisfied with the AC performance of my Alto Vxl Ags 2019.

I am getting almost 22KMPL from her .

In Lahore city where it is driven within DHA Lahore, getting average of 16-17 kmpl with AC switched on 100% of the time.

Back seats leg space is great,

Leg space is good but ride is not comfortable some how for long journeys, may be its because of seat cushioning.

Power: I dont feel its under power. I daily put 4 ppl to travel to my project (50 KM round trip). And its going really well.

You may be right for 50 km trip but if you are driving it within city and you have to stop at almost every traffic signal then you feel that the car is underpowered.

So in my opinion, if you can live with the AGS jerk, this DABBI is a good option as daily runner. Very light on your pocket (Fuel average is great) and still serves the purpose. Suspension performance is really good (even on those metal cat eyes there is no KHARAK SHARAK).

Agreed, this is a good daily runner as we do not have any other choice in this range.

Changing oil to 0w-20 almost halves the amount of noise, or so it seems. But now I doubt if it's wise to use this thin oil in PKDM Alto because they have tuned it to have higher torque. Because of the high torque and manual gears car doesn't feel under powered like JDMs with CVT.

Bought the extended warranty for my Alto Vxl Ags last year which comes with 3 free oil changes, but my dealer isn't willing to pour 0w20 oil even after paying the price difference. According to them they will only be pouring the 10w40 oil as recommended by the company. They said "Don't worry, your vehicle is covered under warranty for 4 years & we will take good care of it"

Kiu nae ati warranty mei bhai, take your car to any other dealer ship. You dont need to mention what oil have you used on 5,000 oil change.

Every service record is available with Paksuzuki, you may be using any dealer, your service record is updated and can be checked anytime.
This is also the case with Honda.

Yes that's what's I am saying.

Since he didnt get his car serviced from a suzuki dealer. The warranty shouldn't be void.

Their was a 2 month lock down, dealerships were closed alot of people made Lahore karachi trips on road. What do u think where did they get maintenance from ? Or they didnt bother changing oils unless dealerships open.

As I mentioned earlier, the dealership installed a rs.200 oil filter in my Alto, so do u think they told paksuzuki they installed rs.200 oil filter?

With respect to warranty issue. It is mentioned in warranty card that if i did not avail 1000 free service in time. Then i cant avail 5000 free service. The same is applied for rest of oil changes in order to claim engine warranty.

Plz share experience about extended warranty. The free oil and filter change in dextended warranty can be use early or use in third or last year. Thanks

Not being applicable for 5000 service and not having warranty on your car are 2 different things.

Which oil is offered in this warranty. 10w40 multigrade mineral oil ultimate brand or 10w40 sm semi synthetic deluxe brand

10w40 Premium Multigrade,

Got my Alto Vxl Ags 10,000 km checkup at 8500kms.
Got its oil/oil filter changed.
As my car is in extended warranty, got the oil & oil filter free of cost, however I was charged for Rs 1,728/- for the 10,000 km service for the detailed checkup which included
Engine tuning via computer
Brake service
Plugs cleaning
Air filter/ac filter cleaning
Nut bolts tightening
Water / Oil level checks
Greasing/ wd40 spray on doors etc.
Free body wash for cleaner look.

Took almost 70 minutes for complete 10000 km service.

i think 2 or 3 days say jab mein car ko full turn karta hu road direction change kay liyeh at speed 10 to 20 km/h to screech sound ati ha ... right & left both side but sometimes ... kabhi nai kabhi ati ha .. kia isssue ho sakhta ha ... car is just 4500km done

Thanks. I asked about this service charges. The 3s dealers said amount of 2500 including throtle body. Alignment. Balancing.

Bro 10w-40 is a ziadati with alto...

The most debatable issue in this form. Oil grade use by Ps limited in new alto.
I have one point. If 10w40 demage engine so much. Then more and more engine warranty claim will be filed by owners if having complete service record by 3S dealers. Then why PS insist to use 10w40 engine oil instead of others like 0w20 or 5w30 synthetic oil.

As per manual of vxr. It is writen 10w40 in oil section.

Someone shared manialt on forums and it recommended 0w-20 for alto..and infact Suzuki is selling this grade as well. I don't have Alto so cant share that..could br wrong but r06 has 0w-20 as recommended grade..the new 660cc

Pakistan Suzuki's alto doesnt suggest 0W20. Japanese Altos manual suggests use of 0W20.

People on the forum think paksuzuki is idoit and they copy pasted mehrans oil chart.

Since paksuzuki is already offering 0W20 and it is a more expensive oil, why wouldn't they want to sell it to customers for Alto? But they are not selling it to Alto customers.

Interesting....since i don't have alto.. can't argue..but i think grade should remain same world over

Since the 0W20 is recommended for WagonR and Cultus. To it's not that this oil isnt suitable for out weather.

So either suzuki engineers, owners manual writers are idiots. Or their a technical glitch, or their is something technical about not using the thin oil grade.
