Owners manual of most Pakistan cars are actually a lot different than international variants..i think they print what they have bought cheaply in stock. If r06 was designed in japan, won't they be the best to recommend oil for it. 0w-20 is getting common but it will still take some time when awam gets out of mota oil and patla oil.. khaor its a debate that will eventually never end like Rolla vs Civic

Your logic is valid. But suzuki Wagonr is being assembled in pakistan since 2014. Suzuki introduced 0W20 in 2018 or 2019.

But WagonR from 2014 has printed on its owner manual 0W20 as first priority oil

Even Suzuki Swift manual has 0W20 written for fuel economy. Else 5W30 and 10W40 are also there... They did not have this 0W20 oil before 2019.

AOA guys, i had a small query can i use GL4-5 75w90 liqui moly gear oil in my alto vxl ags? whats the difference or should i stick to the PS 75w?

bought an alto with camera installed from Suzuki I-9 Isb , which freezes, would like to know if some folks have a reverse camera with Wide angle and with directional lines ,

secondly since tint is not allowed in isb where can one buy shades whic fit the rear windows and , in front for side view finders to remain clear ,

one last thing , when the speed is reducing from 100 KM/h , the gear doesn't shit down to 4th , and so on unless the brake is applied , is that normal ?
regarding Oil Choice , I usually buy oil before hand to avoid the price increase , and they were adamant on selling the 10W, and no oil filter in stock , I had to insist on 0W20 ,

just a little bit of technical understanding is sufficient to get why some people are going for 0w20

I asked for 0w20 but they said that company has strictly advised for 10w40 for Alto 2019.
Hence It’s as per company’s recommendations.

AGS is not a transmission. Its a Electronic module

TBH i shifted to 0W20 in my alto VXR on 5000 inspection. Didn't feel the reduction in noise or increase in performance of any kinds. the car was giving me 18 to 19 KM/L in city before and it is still the same. i was able to get my hands on the JDM wheel cups copy which suits the car perfectly fine.

Other the contrary. I feel my car was doing 19ish before the 5000 oil change. Now it's doing 17ish on 10W40 after 5000 kms oil change

Yes, ags is a electronic module
What I wanted to say, for car with that module, 75w is recommended rather than 75w90 which is for car without module (manual)

may be will get to see the difference after some time. fingers crossed. although master motors were brave enough to mention that my warranty will be void if i will use non recommended oil grade. later on they signed and stamped the 5000 warranty page.

well , the dealerships are installing camera against 5000 /- with out receipt , which freezes in my case , but the warranty is intact , but if you get it outside then its a big no no .

In Lahore city where it is driven within DHA Lahore, getting average of 16-17 kmpl with AC switched on 100% of the time.

Finally someone is getting the same average as i am. Werna yahan parh ker to lagta tha jaisa meri ghari main koi masla ha. My daily running is also in dha and bedian road where you have to brake often.

noise ka to faraq perta ha, i also have the same version however since my running isnt much but time was 6 months i changed my oil at 2600 kms with 0W20. I felt the difference immediately in sound specially idling sound and also the average increase to 19 without AC where as previously i was only getting 15 in local driving.

On my route to office and back average at 24kmpl with 100% AC. Port Qasim so early morning average is 29kmpl on the way back 21kmpl.

City driving 19 to 20kmpl with AC, overall average 22kmpl
