you can confirm from Pak Suzuki, or tell the dealer to show you notice from PS, dont change without written documentation from PS

This cant be true. The dealers know the volume of booking and where they can make a larger profit. So he might be inducing you to change your mind. These dealers like every segment in society is unfortunately very corrupt. Dont trust them.

Suzuki did not mate the auto transmission for the first time in its car. There will be no technical problems. The problem is with character and honesty.

Definetly wait for the launch, ags is the only plus point for this car.
Maybe like all other chusses Suzuki decides to launch the ags later but here it doesnt seems logical.

Suzuki's only chance to sell the 660cc alto is the ags

Might or might not be true. AGS has had trouble in India. You may search about it. However, whether similar is happening in Pakistan or it is just dealer gimmickry needs to be figured out.

Do not trust the dealers, AGS booking completed the first and PS refused taking AGS booking i think within a week, that will be the one that will demand most premium. Also pictures from factory floor show that it is being manufactured, have patience it might be delayed but they wont delay it much, it is the only redeeming point of this hatch that it will be the cheapest and most eco auto hatch available. If it is not coming then the used car import will take off even further.

AGS costs much lesser to what PS is charging for auto option so they have win win situation as it will increase their profit margins

I happened to have a ride on careem's JDM Alto AGS today.....the gear change lag was quite significant....it was just like the normal time we take to press clutch, shift gear, release clutch.....only here the computer/AGS was doing that....on cruising like on Shahrae faisal at 50 60 it shifted to highest i.e. 5th gear........AC seemed a bit less cooling, maybe due khi heat and that the car was already driven high kms, it was not cooling while standing at signal.

japanese dont come with AGS. it comes with either CVT or standard 4 speed auto tranny.

Dealerships have already started taking appointments for test drive of both manual and Auto variants.

VP and F both variants come with 5 Speed AGS transmission which also has a manual +- mode and people think of it as triptronic transmission
